As others have said once it is all said and done they look nice and my wife likes them. None of the brackets were bent to the proper shape. Rather than "pull" the side pocket brackets into shape with the bolts I bent them until they fit flush on the sides and back then installed them. The left side brace for the trunk was basically flat with a few bends in it and took quite a bit of study before completing the job of bending it to the correct shape. And I didn't like the idea of the mike cord stuffed in between the seat and the pocket as that is just cheesy and lame. I wish I had read the review from the other guy before installing mine as I put the holder vertical just under the arm rest support and hindsight is 20/20 and horizontal would have looked better. One stud was broken but that didn't stop me from installing it. On the left side mount I used the bushings to prevent crushing the plastic so a 8.5mm drill or a "Q" drill is required to get the proper fit. If you have the CB you don't have to worry about it as the holes are all ready there. |

While these are a far sight better than the ones on my 1500 they still lack the ability to get them even. The skid bars are offset by one inch but the arms are the same length. This means one peg is farther away than the other no matter what you do. The attachment bracket to the skid bars is really awesome compared to the 1500 bracket. Easy to attach and adjust. I barely gave it 4 stars as both my legs are the same length... |
| I've had them on my bike now for a little over a year and like alot of Kuryakyn products, they are starting to rust. My bike is kept in my garage and I've only ridden in the rain a handfull of times. While they function fine, the chrome is sub-standard. |

| I recommend it in chrome too. So you will drive with sunglasses all the time. Be sure there is enough space for airbag. |

It really looks good on the bike. I think its made with the correct look. Although it looks like it will support an elephant remember this weight adds to your trunk weight and its even higher. But if you really need to push the limit... this will handle it for ya.... |
| Trunk and bag moldings look great. Probably not another accessory that looks quite as good overall. At night it really makes difference. They sure are beautiful. |
| There are many styles of these things to choose from so it really gets down to personal taste and comfort. You can mount these things about anywhere and adjust them to almost any angle. Its hard to recommend something like this to please everyone. I love mine but that doesnt mean the next guy would love them. So like with about anything ...its always best if you can test before you buy ...but even then you may not find out the facts...they may not be adjusted to fit your frame. So its a crap shoot.
