| Just installed these on my 08 over the weekend and logged about 30 miles. Love the new look but was hoping for a little more growl than I got. They sound like the stock pipes most of the time. Noticeably deeper tone only during low rpm - high torque riding. Too bad COBRA doesn't offer a louder model because these are the best looking pipes available, in my opinion. |
| Love 'em. I installed them in about 15 minutes. No problems what-so-ever. I love the fact they make your grip "fatter", but I do understand others' concerns about that. I wanted "fatter" grips,that's why I installed them. |
| Probably the easiest accessory you'll ever attach to your wing! I love the backrest, however, my wife hated it. She had to spread her legs extremely far apart to get around them and they still dug into her thighs. I now have an Utopia backrest. I love it and so does my wife. |
| I installed these on my '08 Wing. Very easy to install, but I haven't found a comfortable position yet. It seems my feet want to slide off and I have to "hold" me feet on them. Very frustrating, but I'm sure I'll find the "sweet" spot before long. |
| The map and detail of the engraving are fine. You will need to super glue the stones on and a good pair of tweezers will be a big help. Given all that it still looks great but the real problem is getting to to stick to your bike. You can clean a spot with the alcohol pad and do the prep work but it wont matter. The adhesive on the double back tape they use is worthless. So its best to find your own solution to get this little jewel secured. |

I have been running Avon tires for years and had never had a problem. This last set of Avon Cobra’s had around 20,000 miles when the tread was showing through on the rear tire. I do not advocate running a tire until the tread shows before you change it out. But as for mileage these tires are as good as they get. The front tire is still going and they were both put on at the same time. As for gripping the road I think they are the best ever. Whatever tire you’re running now and when you when you change them out to Avon Cobra’s you’ll notice a huge difference for the better. |

This new version is easy to install and will stay in place. But!!! I give 2 stars less because of: 1. You loose much heat (2 steps on the knob) 2. These grips are realy huge ! You have to put the levers (in particular the clutch) a bit away from the grips as usual. As the grips are larger must have very large hands to reach the levers comfortabely. 3. That's the most important drawback for me: you loose a lot of feeling in handling the bike, esp. in sharp turns. I used them for 2 days and removed them and rediscovered "my" Wing. |
| A great must for your Wing! and realy easy to install. Would have buy the chrome covers for the front cowl in the same time... |
| These gills gives your Wing a very nice look. Easy to install. Look is not as "charged" as with other similar products: I prefere! |
| Look great, easy to install. Take your time to be shure it is installed in the center of the fender (masking tape and rule help a lot). |

After using these floorboards for 6 months, the back shifter position is too low for my comfort. I arch my heel to shift. I give this accessory 4 stars, the install was very easy, the custom look is great and when not shifting in traffic, the floor boards are extremely comfortable. I will keep them, but I wanted to share. If anyone knows how to elevate the back shifter so I don't have to work hard to shift, please let me know. |

A good friend had bought 2 sets of these, and gave me 1 set... I just installed it today... First they look great! but do wish the 06 and up addapter wiring had been included! No trouble to install, and took a little over a 1/2 hour. I think they could have run the wiring out the back (sticker side) rather than out the end so the wiring could be hidden, this would given it a better look... But over all works as intended, and looks great... even better at night. |
