Excellent product! I can't believe how well the beads have performed. The thing I like best is that beads respond to changes in the tire as it wears.
Installed about two months ago and although awkward in the beginning I have grown accustomed to the foot position and quirks (kickstand deployment mostly) associated with this product. They are very well made and look great. Based on all of the other reviews I decided to disassemble the shifter side prior to installation in order to insure a completely free pivot of the shifter arm. I used some emery cloth on the pivot pin until it was free enough to move with out hand assist. I also reassembled with lithium grease to maintain smooth operation. BTW, the pieces that bolt onto the bottom are called deploy hooks and are used exactly for that purpose. When you need to put the board in the down position (you will do that often to deploy the side stand) instead of placing your boot on the chrome edge (which will scratch it) you should catch the little hook and pull them down. Four stars because I had to do some extra work to the unit prior assembly and as someone else mentioned at these prices that shouldn't be necessary.
I would have given this a 5 star but the instructions are vague at best especially when it has to do with the Goldwing wiring. I simply removed the seat and interceded the green/red stripe wire coming out of the relay switch and same for the ground wire; hook up the wires for the four/three then continuous on sequence. I only used one of the white/red or red/white wire and all the stop lights worked and the modular can be placed beneath the relay box. I did soldered all connections and used shrink wrap. This was the simple less way to go without pulling rear tire cover or trunk lower cover and so on. If you are wanting each side to work opposite from the other, you will need to go searching for a different location and a lot more time. The Wig Wag does exactly what they said it will do, it does get the attention of the other drivers that are behind you.
sorry with -OUT- one
this is a must hands down , I have never used a throttle boss before, and i will never have another bike with one.
thanks to all the past reviews these went on easy..cuts down on the heat but i kept mine on #2 setting anyway.
I was a little surprised to see how small these were. Put them on and went for a ride...WOW these work GREAT took maybe 15 minutes to install, just be easy with your trim on the fairing
No way to check if nut is tight!
looks great but thats all it does......3 stars for looks
Looks great and super easy to install,[takes 10 min]. Nice addition
I bought the Kuryakyn Luggage rack from WingStuff and got it really fast. I had my honda dealer put it on for me. I was concerned about the weight of the rack but it is still easy to life up and lower. As always you need to watch how much weight you put on it. I would highly recommend this rack for any GW. Make sure if you don't have lights that you leave room for them to put on later.
Looks great fairly easy to install with some gentle persuasion. One note of cautions. If you install the Chrome Finder extender it will jam against the Lower Cowl when the suspension is lowered to the lowest setting making steering of the bike difficult. Works ok with suspension in the highest setting. I had to remove my Finder Extender for safety reasons.
