| Buffering, see ya, watery eyes, see ya. Pretty easy to install. Took about 35 mins. No need to drill holes like instructions say. There are instructions for 1500 and 1800s. This windsreen is really tall. Wind goes right over your helmet. Refreshing to be able to see the road clearly. Keeps you warmer too. |
| They did not fit my 1500 well at all. I had to trim down the tabs to get them to fit but they still don't fit as well as the factory vents. I would not buy these again. |

Good hitch. Solid and easy install, took about 2 hours (but I'm slow). As others have mentioned, the final bolt in the assembly interferes with the edge of the saddle bag. It's in an area nobody sees, so a few seconds with a Dremel and a grinding bit was all I needed to make it work. Also mentioned above is the unknown box to the rear of the wheel on my 2010. I had to loosen the saddlebags for clearance to get the upper clamps in place. Very simple - removed only the top rearward bolt inside the saddlebag and it gave me just enough room. I almost gave it three stars. My unit came loosely assembled (nice to see how it goes together) but the large bolt that joins the trunnion to the front clamp was cross-threaded in the assembly. Some dunderhead *knew* this was gonna be a problem but packed the darned thing up anyway. No big deal for me as I had the tools to fix it. Some other poor schmuck might not have been as lucky. These three items are the reason for the 4 stars. There should be an addendum or revised instructions for these. |
| Giving these a three star did not work with my hyway boards #4058 lucky for me a friend took them off my hand but they would have been pefect otherwise they look good. I had to order the 4.5 arm for my boards. Will update later. |
| I am having trouble with the chrome brackets on the rear safety bars. No matter how I ajust the passenger floor boards touch and one side will not move. Any suggestions |
| What a bargain. Great value for the price. The bags are well made and should give years of service. Looking forward to the first time I use them which will make loading and unloading the bike so much easier. |
| GREAT BUY for the money. It is fairly easy to install once you get the plastic liner away from the inside of the trunk lid. Looks good on the bike and should give many years of service. Take your time and it might be a little easier with an extra set of hands to help you. |
| it serves the purpose nuff said. |
| Added this and it looks great plenty of room for cleaning the trunk had to bore holes a little to get screws to fit took a little work but end result is worth the wait.Have to remove trunk inner lid but no trouble at all. |

These are very study and well cushioned arm wrests. I installed on my 2008 without any fitment issues. It's great how they have the "factory" look and do not leave any cumbersom moving parts to get in the way of ingress and egress, as well as opening the trunk. I have the trunk rack installed, and even so, with your arms all the way back to where you wrists are right at the edge of these arm wrests my wife's elbows still have a couple inches space from the trunk rack. As previously mentioned, installation is pretty involved. It took me nearly 3 hours, but I'm a perfectionist and double check all my actions before performing any destructive actions, such as drilling. A few important notes about installation: 1) You will need some weird tools. I had to use a dremel for cutting thin metal lock washers off, a hook tool for grabbing those washers, and an oddly sized drillbit for one of the steps (17/32). 2) The "B" lower drilling template is incorrect! I highly recommend drilling the top hole, positioning the support bracket, then marking the bottom hole. If you use the bottom template you'll have problems. 3) The diagram of which support bracket for Left/Right is confusing since it only shows 1 angle in the photo, and its a top down computer diagram. Not a big deal, if you put it on the wrong side you'll see when mounting and its easy to change to the other bracket. |

Really Kuryakyn? Really? In this open letter to the engineers and accountants at Kuryakyn, I'd like to nitpick just a tad. (I would address the customer service folk, but I've done that before, to no avail. ) If it was your (engineers) idea to make us reuse the tiny balls and springs, what were you thinking? "Let's provide the customer with these nice floorboards but torture him with having to fish out the ball and spring so he can drop them, spend 20 minutes finding them, and then try and figure out how to put the puzzle back together! Hah!" Okay, it wasn't that bad, but if your account said, "Let's save 25 cents on these and make the customer reuse the Honda spring and ball," then shame on them for being penny wise and pound foolish. Go ahead and spend 50 cents more on these parts and charge me an additional 2 dollars! Most of us would pay gladly for a complete part that requires a little less unnecessary hassle. Now with that off my chest - except for the 20 minutes looking for the dropped spring (my bad), these installed in just a few minutes. One swing arm rubs a little (yes, it will take off the chrome where it hits over time), but I expect that from our friends at Kury. I got these for my wife, and if she's happy, I'm happy. It was interesting they include some extra pads and glue (thank you) but I think doing so is a warning there is going to be trouble down the road. I just hope I have to replace the ones for which they provided the extras pads! |

Installed on 08 Wing with little effort. Hardest part was removing ball and spring off the original boards, they should be included. Instructions should include adjusting allen bolts on swing arm berore assembly,so tension will allow raising foot pegs while riding. Happy Biker |
