Similar to other reviews; Hitch is well made but engineered to the price. Standard fitting diagrams are useless, additional downloaded ones are the go. Care has to be taken to align the lower "H" mounting bolt position BEFORE attaching and tightening the top clamps. I had minimal spreading of the panniers on my 2007. I tightend the H bolts to specifications - But after 7000Kms my lower H welds also broke on both sides due to the bolts coming loose. Inspection IS required! No damage to the Bike or trailer as I noticed the vibration. Have now added screwlock and had the centre welds braced. All Good. Great product for the price. Keeping up the inspection and I would recommend. |
| 2 years I've had these IMC headsets. I have had no problems and the sound is good also. I have two sets of helmets one with the J&M set and the other with IMC. I prefer the IMC. They were half the price of the J&M set. |
| I had ordered the side molding, then saw Verne's remark about fitting 98 and up and said oh oh. But got them and looked them over carefully and could not see how they would not fit. Put them on and they fit great. (oh my Goldwing is an 88.) I think the 98 on the back of the package is a mistake. |
| Installed 04.10.10: Works great; Keeps phone charged while riding. |
| This is perfect so far. It should be included in the floorboard package. I used it on the factory kickstand and it is under the floor board and the crome tip sticks out. I can not imagine anyone laying their bike down far enough for it to scrape the ground. So far no signs of it getting loose, but the tool that came with it is in my tool bag. Very easy to install. Solves the problem of raising the floorboard to put down the kickstand. |
| I use my cup holder all morning when I am on long trips. I usually ride with some Harley riders and this item bugs them even more than my stero system and heated seats and heated hand grips. I found no safty concerns with using it on the highway. |

This hitch fitted with little trouble, but left the saddlebags slightly splayed - took some wrestling to fit the fender back on. The worst part was the hitch falling apart after some7000 miles (11000 km) on Australian highways. The metal tubes of the H frame cracked through and broke adjacent to the welds at the bottom of the receiver. When they let go, luckily at very slow speed, the H frame bolts sheared. Had to get a steel reinforcing plate bent up and welded on to strengthen the repaired hitch before I could go any further. Also fitted tougher bolts. This all cost me a little money and an extra night on the road - all up, about the cost of the hitch. Not good enough, guys! |
| Very nice quality i ordered the indiana state flags mounted above the red white and blue look awesome. |
| Took all of ten miniute,s to drill and pull these through the holes they seem to work great Like the snug fit. |
| Less than a year old, and one of the headsets (drivers set) has developed a loose wire in the plug on the helmet. I have looked into all and that has to be where it is, connector wire is good on other helmet, will see how Wing Stuff handles this. Will let you know the outcome, stay tuned. |

I installed theseacouple of weeks ago. My rear passenger loves them. The only difficulty with my installation came when I attached the cushions to the swing arms. I recommend starting (and then removing) the screws in the cushions before attaching the cushions to the swing arms. |

Installed this harness a couple of weeks ago. This product performs well and I've achieved my objective of substantially improving the visual impact of the turn signals when viewed from behind. The instructions are reasonably clear and none of the steps are too challenging. However, some guidance re. what to do with the excess wire and the connections at the rear of the bike would be helpful. The lack thereof causes my taking away 1 star in the rating. I have two observations regarding the excess wires and connections in the rear. First, the black connectors on the wiring that you will attach to the trunk lights don't fit into the light compartment itself, so don't bother snaking them up there. Second, the relay box and excess wire in the harness need to be affixed to the framing down as low as possible underneath the plastic body part where the license plate is mounted. There is not any excess space available between the upper section of this body part and the frame. |
