Really dresses up my Goldwing Trike. I was unable to install them according to the directions but other than that I am very satisfied
I had these put on my 08 Wing last year. They are the best investment I have made for my bike. They vent a tremendous amout of air to the riders if you choose, or deflect the cold air off the rider. On cooler days, I open the lower wing and it blows the warm air off the radiators on the rider. I highly recomend them.
Buy it! Love mine!
Review update. My vent it appears is loose after all. Must have been jamed tight during shipping. I don't understand why the company that makes these is sending out windshields with loose vents. According to others with this problem the fix is to remove the washers around the vent screws. I hope I can get the screws off without removing the windshield cause it ain't comming off. Other than this one problem I like the shield, it gives good protection, cleans easily and does throw off water. Glad I bought it.
These look great on the bike and I really like the additional turn signal light

I purchased these a couple months ago and the install was fairly easy but for the extra money there is a better system out there that installs in your trunk. The rubber on this current system tends to get pushed over and not stay straight up. This is with no load on the trunk rack either. Just everyday open and closing of the trunk. I forgot the name of this other trunk system but a vendor attended a Goldwing rally and did the install for about $50.00 and no holes where drilled on top the the trunk exterior to do this. I guess the Baby Buggy system is cheaper but how many times will you have to replace them before they wear out? |

Did alot of reading on this hitch before I bought it. There instructions on the web on how to install. The instruction that comes with it sucks. I also read alot of reviews in other place so real bad. But now so. You don't need to remove or loosen the mufflers take the battery cover off or the passengers floor boards. Just he crash bars and the panel over it, plus the rear panel. The hard part was to get all 4 screws in the H bracket to match up. Took about an hour with no help. |
Wow I'm amazed how this item makes the trunk and rear end of my GL1800 looks. It enriches the rear end nicely. Had to buy it early and be the first to show it's style.
Don't buy this side until you can afford to get the other side to match. If they came as a set, that would even be better. Be sure they test fit before peeling the backing off. It is very sticky. I put the radio panel piece on at the same time, and glad I did. This area now looks complete. Chrome finish is very good, also.

Looks sweet compared to the black it covers up. I also put the chrome on the side panels at the same time. All three look good together. Like others have said, make sure it is shaped right before sticking it down. Don't get discouraged, it took me an hour+ to get it bent to fit.
Put both trunk and saddlebag lights on at the same time. Took me a couple hours at a liesurely pace. No surprises during install. I dressed the screw holes with the closest size bit I had, and ran all screws in/out before assembly. Had no broblems with broken plastic. The only improvement I would suggest is for the saddlebag wiring to be plug-and-play. There is enough room in the tail light housings for it. All in all, a five-star item. Really dresses up those areas of the bike. Wingstuff delivery very prompt. Thanks!!
