| I agree. Looked really cool at first, but with time the plastic chrome finish is starting to become a little bit dull and scratched-looking. Metal chrome inserts would probably hold up better. Probably will replace it since it still adds a nice look. |
| Got this F4 windshield (the plus 2-inch version, without vent)to replace the old scratched-up original OEM shield. What a fantastic improvement!! Looking thru the new F4 is like day and night. The clarity is really super. Only used water and mild car wash solution to clean it so far and no scratches what-so-ever. Right now to me this is an improvement that is definitely worth the high cost. If you are thinking about (or need to) replacing that original windshield, I highly recommend this one. |

Here's the thing...I liked the floorboards that I purchased from Kuryakyn but as a tall man I was always miffed about the fact that I was limited to only 3 or 4 riding positions I could get from them. Then one day I was looking through their website and I happened along the mini arms and I noticed that the web page insisted that they DID NOT fit their floorboards as they once did. So I did the logical thing and I read the install instructions and what do you know? They say in the instructions that they still do fit the floorboards. So I bought them. Believe it or not the Kuryakyn customer service and tech support guys tried everything they could to discourage me from buying the arms. They said that they were just told not to sell them. No reasons. In fact the more I questioned their specifics the nastier they got. BTW they told me that they have been discouraging customers for 4 years about this part. In the end I made sure that they told me definitively that they would not malfunction for safety's sake and I installed them in about 5 minutes. I even called Kuryakyn to let them know that they worked and the tech support guy did all but call me a liar. My advice to you is if you find an inconsistancy in something don't stop til you have cleared up the mystery; you just might end up with a great product like I did!! Ride safe my friends!! |
| very nice rack, easy install on my 05 wing with spoiler, i installed the americam billet risers, really looks outstanding, i also put on new stainless hardware, the large washers are a great fit a must have never to much chrome |
| Awesome! I love it and it has been the best addition to date. Highly recommend. I didn't actually install, but the video on line through Youtube seems fairly straightforward if you can get past the pucker factor of cutting the seat. The tech that installed mine took about 15-20 minutes to do it--for what that's worth. |
| Got the arm rest and installed them against my wife's will, said she didn't need them, but I like the looks of them and it adds that look I like. Now that their on, she has changed her mind and likes them. the cup holder we have also used on some long trips, also got a cup holder for me too. Just remember to move them aside when opening your trunk. |
| A must have if you plan to do any lone distance riding. I live in the country and everywhere I go is long. Makes all the difference in the world. I also have the heated seats and installed it by myself, little scary but take your time and no worries. Cutting the seat.."Ditto" what everybody else says, but it's worth it. |

Looks great, works great... but after 6 months, it seems to have become "loose" just below the threaded area, where a rivet goes through the base. The entire antenna wobbles just ever so slightly... it doesn't seem to have any effect on the operation -- it's only noticeable if you hold on to the bottom part of the folding coupler it and rock it back and forth. I can't figure out any way to tighten it back up. |

I purchased the 3-3/4" arm and the clutch/brake reservoir mounting clamp. I only give it 4 Stars becase the Clutch-reservoir mount won't tighten enough to keep the clutch lever from being able to be rotated on the handlebars by hand... it's pretty tight, but not as tight as before this was mounted, and it doesn't match up perfectly, although it takes close inspection to see anything wrong with it. Also, I had to go to RAM directly to purchase a 1/4"-20 threaded adapter ball to mount my digital camera on top of this guy. WingStuff should offer that part here, and that would have saved me aobut $8 in extra shipping charges. Otherwise, I really love it. It's incredibly stable - stays right were you put it - and my camera takes great video through the windscreen. I am going to order the longer arm so that I can position the camera farther up and to the side. |
| Installed yesterday. Looks great. Made of good quality. Should come with a pouch to store on bike when not using cup and or holder. Going to Tim Hortons today and get me a cup of coffee. Then for a nice ride. Sun is shinning, birds are singing, grass is green, What more could a person ask for! Loto max is over 50 million this friday. That would do the trick. A lot more riding time, and I think all over the world! Just remember if you buy this do not drink spirits and drive! Have a Safe summer on your ride. 2010 |
| Added this in black to my new iso slip over hand grips and throttle boss. They add that little touch. |
|
This is a great add on, along with Kuryakyn Iso slide over heated grips. I also installed rings on each end. This is a most for long hauls or even short trips, All together they do make a big difference. Numbness in hands are gone. |
