I was surpised at the weight of these suckers. All my other Kuryakyn chrome was very light, but I suppose it needs to be weighty since it is for the rider's pegs. I also did not expect such a SMALL amount of metal to make such a large difference. Install's a snap... just a few bolts and your done. If you have all the other engine chrome then go get em', cuz it kinda looks silly without it.
Purchased a set of these for my 2008 Goldwing and the wife loves them. It took me about 2 hours to install but well worth it. Takes the weight off of the wife's arms by only allowing the hand to drop instead of the forarm and hand.
Adds nice shiny look to the Wing's lower cockpit area. Starting to look a little bit weathered after almost two years of duty.
Really adds that bright chrome special look to the side of the Wing. I'm starting to like the look of the shark gills better tho.
Adds bling to the cockpit of the Wing. Very nice addition.
Adds bling to the cockpit of the Wing. Very nice.
I agree. Looked really cool at first, but with time the plastic chrome finish is starting to become a little bit dull and scratched-looking. Metal chrome inserts would probably hold up better. Probably will replace it since it still adds a nice look.
Got this F4 windshield (the plus 2-inch version, without vent)to replace the old scratched-up original OEM shield. What a fantastic improvement!! Looking thru the new F4 is like day and night. The clarity is really super. Only used water and mild car wash solution to clean it so far and no scratches what-so-ever. Right now to me this is an improvement that is definitely worth the high cost. If you are thinking about (or need to) replacing that original windshield, I highly recommend this one.

Here's the thing...I liked the floorboards that I purchased from Kuryakyn but as a tall man I was always miffed about the fact that I was limited to only 3 or 4 riding positions I could get from them. Then one day I was looking through their website and I happened along the mini arms and I noticed that the web page insisted that they DID NOT fit their floorboards as they once did. So I did the logical thing and I read the install instructions and what do you know? They say in the instructions that they still do fit the floorboards. So I bought them. Believe it or not the Kuryakyn customer service and tech support guys tried everything they could to discourage me from buying the arms. They said that they were just told not to sell them. No reasons. In fact the more I questioned their specifics the nastier they got. BTW they told me that they have been discouraging customers for 4 years about this part. In the end I made sure that they told me definitively that they would not malfunction for safety's sake and I installed them in about 5 minutes. I even called Kuryakyn to let them know that they worked and the tech support guy did all but call me a liar. My advice to you is if you find an inconsistancy in something don't stop til you have cleared up the mystery; you just might end up with a great product like I did!! Ride safe my friends!! |
very nice rack, easy install on my 05 wing with spoiler, i installed the americam billet risers, really looks outstanding, i also put on new stainless hardware, the large washers are a great fit a must have never to much chrome
Awesome! I love it and it has been the best addition to date. Highly recommend. I didn't actually install, but the video on line through Youtube seems fairly straightforward if you can get past the pucker factor of cutting the seat. The tech that installed mine took about 15-20 minutes to do it--for what that's worth.
Got the arm rest and installed them against my wife's will, said she didn't need them, but I like the looks of them and it adds that look I like. Now that their on, she has changed her mind and likes them. the cup holder we have also used on some long trips, also got a cup holder for me too. Just remember to move them aside when opening your trunk.
