You can put them on in 15 min or less and You don't have to remove your ergo pegs first. If your going to get your valve checked out at 32,000 miles and if you have a lot of miles on your wing you might wait to put the top on before you check your vales out but if your wing is new or not very many miles on it go for it somthing to think about. they are made out of heavy metal and look very good.
Great product, well built, quality throughout, a little pricey but well worth it..I just installed the Pakit-Rak before a 2500 mile trip through western Canada. Packing for ten days on the road was the easiest ever. We carried a range of clothing to meet the varying weather conditions and activities planned for our trip. Without the added space provided by the Pakit-Rak we would have had issues. Reccomended the product to fellow Wingers who have now also bought the product. Wish I had installed one last year when I first toured on the new "08 Wing.
Installed this on a friend's 2008 Goldwing. We used a hole saw, then cleaned up the hole with a file. Connecting to the wiring harness was difficult because Honda placed it fairly deep into the fairing and you cannot get two hands down there. Great product to have for charging cell phone, mp3 player, or for using tire inflator. The rubber cover is a good feature to keep out moisture, bugs, or stray objects which could cause a short. It seems like Honda should make this socket a standard feature. This is probably the first aftermarket item a Goldwing purchaser should install.
This product is easy to use; no waiting for it to dry to a haze like with wax. I purchased the large can; I need to purchase the small can now to take on the road. I used it on painted surfaces and on the windshield and Baker hand wings and everything looks real nice. Will purchase this product again.
I bought the clear ones to match my windshield and so they would not stand out visually too much. They look and work great. Installation was pretty easy. Includes a template for placing the stop screws and also includes rubber dots which will protect your paint from the edge of the wings.
Added these at the same time I added Grip Puppies. Installation was very easy and they look great. Advice: Check the screw tightness after a few rides.
What a great bargain. These grips are so much more comfortable than the stock grips. The stock grips were too skinny and caused me hand and wrist fatigue. Use a lot of hair spray as instructed to make them slip on easily. They work perfectly with my heated grips.
I have had a driver Butler for years--has been on 4 bikes. I just ordered the 34oz for my wife and mounted on her Kuryakyn armrests. Now I won't be hearing "all my ice has melted" every 15 minutes. This is, no doubt, the very best way to go for a drink/cup holder if you plan to ride more than 30 minutes at a time.

Great protection for you fog lights. No cracks or dings on my lenses. You do have to drill some holes in your lower cow but get over it. They come off fast to clean up with a power screw driver. Clean them with plastic cleaner and polish from NAPA auto parts. Keeps bugs, Rocks, and great fit. Better scratches on them then damaged $100 dollar bulbs. Be seen stave alive they all want to kill us. |
I installed this on my black Wing and they look great and add a lot of bling. Very easy install. Highly recommend.
I installed these on my black Wing and they look great. Very easy installation, took fifteen minutes for both. Three screws and a grommet and you're done. Highly recommend.
