| Piece is pressed and chromed steel and not plastic. Install in 5 minutes. Fit and finish is good. helps to visually tie in the kill switch to other chromed items in the area. I would buy again. |
| This piece is zinc die cast metal and not plastic. Fit and finish is good and install about 10 minutes. Finishes off the rather bland look to the tip of the Honda stock fender. I would buy again. |
| Piece is metal (zinc die cast)and not plstic. Fit and finish are good Installation about 5 minutes. Adds some flair to the unadorned stock fender. Would I buy again? In a minute. |
| This is the first piece of Baker Built product that I have purchased along with the foot wings and I am not at all impressed. The hardware looks and is cheap and trashy. It does not fit and grip the crash bar at all well and when fully tightened the unit will still move around. (Even over tightening did not cure this) I am running Kury chromed valve covers and while the right side wing fit fairly well, the left did not. The clearances are far too tight and it will require some massaging with a dremel tool to open it up. Apparently Baker has had some experience with this in the past as they supply some little rubber pads to place between the stock valve cover and the deflector. I haven't ridden with them yet so lets hope they do as Baker claims or they will be an EBay item. |

If you own a Goldwing, you gotta have this wrench. It's worth 10 times the cost!! Works like a charm!!! |

This trailer hitch receiver is rock solid! I have a 2008 GL1800 with premium audio and I was able to install this product on my bike in just over an hour. Throw out the directions in the package. Print out the online direction from here. The holes for the H bracket will not line up easily. I put the two right side bolts in first, then used a drift pin between the H bracket and the support tube frame to get the left holes aligned. This worked out very well for me. |
| I love this rack. It is solid. Installation was fairly simple. The only problem was that the rack feet angles were off. Better factory quality control would be a wonderful thing here. I had to file the feet to match the angle of my trunk lid. I also used the star washers to help spread out the load on the trunk lid. |
| I have used K&N filters for years on my automobiles. I love the fact that I won't have to disassemble my cowl for another 25,000 miles! Installation was moderately easy. My 2008 GL1800 was different then the photos in my factory service manual. Take you time and be sure to put the bolts back into the exact hole that they come out of. Some of the bolts are a different length. |

A week ago I installed the trunk handle myself and it was a breeze. You WILL need two different "sharp" drill bits to install properly. Just follow the directions and it will be a piece. It is as functional as it's good trick looks. SNP Jr. |
| Be very careful when removing the plastic wrap from these units. I managed to break one of the tabs off the center section on the trunk trim getting it off. I don't know why Show Chrome insists on double plastic vacuum wrap on many of their parts but this has been a headache before. I used a dab of grease on the thread bosses prior to installing the screws but several of them still split when starting the screws in. This seems to be an ongoing problem with these parts and is mentioned in many of the reviews and I suspect that Honda uses ABS plastic while Show Chrome uses polystyrene which is more brittle in nature. Once installed though the fit and finish is very good. |
| HELP! I can't get the clam shell shut. The rubbers slide on no problem, but I just can't squeeze the two outer pieces shut. I've even tried quick-grip pipe clamps. The instructions say to pull on the rubber while you push on the shell - I guess I need two more hands. |
| Order through Ultimate seats with some custom accents. Installed and they look awesome. I had these on my old bike and loved them. Many thousands of miles of enjoyment. When I upgraded to the goldwing, tnis was on the top of my wish list. Really exited to put many more miles on these. |
