Installed this fender extender/mudflap with no problem just follow directions. Looks good and keeps alot of the road scum from splashing up on the timing cover. Also looks good on bike.
Installed this backrest with no problem just follow the directions. To prevent water entering the seat were the flat bar goes down though the seat I filled this area with ultra black gasket maker and now it is water tight and no water can get down into the seat foam.
Iam not mechanically inclined and I installed this backrest in 45 minuets by myself. The directions are simple but I also watched the video on youtube to install it.Nice backrest and my wife loves the pouch that came with it. If I can install this backrest, anyone can. Oak
I had a different version of these pegs on my GL1500 and was very happy with them. I installed this model on my new GL1800. These infinitly adjustable pegs are terrific. They are great looking on the bike and very comfortable to use.
Back rest came in this weekend, very timely delivery. Install very straightforward. Highly recommend watching install video prior to install. Measure a couple of times prior to making cut in seat. Very easy to adjust as needed for comfort to suit comfort need.Extremely comfortable backrest.
Really nice. Protection and/or piece of mind, may never know which one but now I've got both. A quick pass with a flat file takes care of the sharp edges. Easy install once I realized I had to man up and tug on the pipe covers and slide it forward before tightening (thanks, other commenters). This is very solid (once installed) for protection from kicked up debris, I think those complaining about it being flimsy are expecting a skid plate not a belly pan. One whine -- why doesn't this come with some of those required replacement fiber washers?? !!! C'mon, WingStuff, that'd make it 5+ stars.
Very nice product, they fit perfect
Great bag for times when you need extra stuff, I wouldn't put alot of heavy things in it just because the trunk rack may not handle the load
I have used these grips on my GoldWings for over thirty years and have found them to be the most comfortable on the market, especially since I now live in Yuma Arizona where the sun always shines. While they are long lasting they do wear out eventually and it's a struggle getting the old ones off but most everyone can do it without a great deal of effort. Then install the new ones according to the instructions. I recommend this product.

Kudos to Wingstuff for a good selection of three different risers, as folks will have their own needs. My problem was that I'm tall, grips were hitting my thighs when turned. Problem solved, these are GREAT! The other (more expensive) risers have more spread and setbacks configuration options but none of them move the bars up as far. That's all I wanted, and these deliver more rise at a fraction of the price. For once, I got off easy. The little plastic spacers go under the mouse ears handlebar cover when reinstalling. I suggest gluing them to the mouse ears so you or your shop don't lose them the first time you disassemble again, even if you manage to not lose them when installing. For those concerned about cables, don't be. At the mounting point, this is only raising the bars a 1/4" or so - no problem. Pardon the obvious (to some) - it works by changing the angle of the bars. |
great for the price you can't go wrong buy it
