| Ohhh yeahhh, these look nice. Do a couple test fits before peeling the back off the tape. You should be able to get the top and bottom sections to line up perfectly if you do the test fits first to determine the exact placement of each section. I just took a 1500 mile road trip through the heat of CA, NV, AZ, and UT with the high temps over 108° and the tape held, so there's no way you'll be able to adjust these in your cool garage once you stick them on. I highly recommend these. They look great! |
| Nice. Once you start adding side chrome, you have to add these to carry the chrome towards the rear of the bike. Easy to install. I highly recommend these. |

| I like everything about this: fit, form and function. BUT the LED lights are tooo darn bright at night and distract your attention. Will try covering up with a black sharpie. |
| I've had a SVR in my 84 Aspy for almost 9 years and never has had a problem. I have a lot of lights and audio equipment. I keep it on the tender when not in use for prolong periods of time. And I bought another one just for the heck of it . I am not used to a battery lasting that long |
| I got the product today. Install was straight forward but the appearance after install looks like some backyard mech made it. The form and fit could be much better where the front and rear peice mate. No noticeable heat increase. Hopefully it does what it is intended to do. |
| I lubed mine with spit and pulled carfuly with needle nose. I took a razor and shaved a little off the top and beveled the side were it was smashing the seal.The remote works fine now. |

Installed on 2012 ABS GL1800. I'm adding this info for those that have a 2012 and were wondering what will fit. I will review 27 items that I installed on my 2012. The install went perfectly and I prefer this ws over the stock or F4+4 (tried both). Highly recommend. |
| I had the Compu - Fire Gen111 battery and alternator installed July 17, 2005. The battery just quit on me July 22, 2011. It's a outstanding battery, never had one seconds problem with it. I would highly recommend it. I replaced it with a brand new Gen111. |

Rated '3' stars because there are no support brakets to keep the rear fender from cracking. Show Chrome has brakets for their fender extension. My mechanic orders that Show Chrome brackets and installed them with this extension. Looks good and should not have to worry about cracking my rear fender. (he had a cracked fender extension in his shop due to Kuryakyn extension w/o support brackets). |

Kudos to others that warned me about the installation nightmare. Same problem here. The handle was shipped with M5x.80x30mm bolts and should have been M5x.80x35mm bolts. I could not find them locally and had to special order them. Hopefully the new bolts will clear up the issues. Also, there was chrome in the threads which make it even harder to start a bolt that will only grab one thread (two at the most). Something a little different on a 2012... The brake lights are a lot brighter on the bike so the LED light in the handle is barely noticeable. Was a great addition on my previous gl1800s (not so much on 2012). |
