| the bolts that are supplied are not the correct length and will cause the lower fairing tabs to break off. I found this out when I replaced the air filter |
| Excellent simple install, follow directions, look at them to see the correct spot to fit up in the trunk, drill without removine the power box, plug in the RED connector and bingo, bought it some time ago, didnt need it till I picked up a helmet sena bluetooth headset, now my phone will always be charged, 20 minute max install. |
| At the 10,000 mile mark I've moved theses tires up from a 1 to a 3. I run 42 psi front/rear and check the pressure daily. They still seem to "fall off" in the corners but once down they track pretty true and I feel confident with them. They are wearing very well with at least another 4-5 thousand miles of tread left (according to my gauge) and show no cupping.....but they wobble and I mean wobble, during deceleration, worse than any tire I've ever run. It's always two hands on the grips. Others have said they have no wobble....so I don't know what to think. If I could be assured that a new set would not wobble I'd buy them in a heartbeat. |
| First thing I did was burnish the edges of this 2 piece belly pan. To burnish the edges, use a smooth piece of metal such as a screwdriver and just rub it back and forth on the edges of the metal and it rolls them over nicely and now no more sharp edges.We do this in the world of aviation to smooth sharp edges on sheet metal. Now, I installed this item with no problem and it has alot to be desired, as one of the reviewers stated it looked like it was made by a backyard shade treer, in any event it will protect the under side of the bike as stated. Looks ok but don't get to close you will see the poor fit between the front and rear pieces. |
| Installed these boards on my 1800 and they are great,what a differance in comfort. Work great,look great, and installation was very easy. |
| If you have the chrome radio knobs this is the final touch. look wounderful and very easy to put on. |
| Should not be with out them pull of the old put on the new. Was very easy to do and look really nice. |
| Talking about the ultimate in looks this is it. After you put this on your bike, the whole front changes WOW what a look so glad i did it. |
| A must have for any 1500, did not have to remove the mirrors just pulled back the rubber boot and slipped the chrome piece over the mirrors slowly not a problem. And they look very very nice. |
| Installed on 06 wing, went on trip down to oregon,rode over passes with wind turbines,extremely windy conditions, immediately noticed a difference when passing transports,better in extreme side winds and a big improvement in fuel usage. before installing pan, low fuel light was coming on at 330km consistently. now light comes on at 370km consistently, thats riding two up and full of luggage. fan came on a little more through city stop and go traffic, but regardless, im sold... |
| Quick and easy install. This fork brace really improves handling, however I am finding that my arms and shoulders seem to get sore. Has anyone else noticed this? |
