You can only guess what a HUGE addition this will make. Easy install.
Iy you get the chrome cover you HAVE to add these.
Really gives you an extra feeling of protrction.
The right amount of bling to serve a purpose and dress up your wing.
Looks good, easy install
Junk and shouldn't be sold. It is about 1/4 inch too WIDE for the 1800 fender. Disappointed in Kuryakyn
A helmet I carry on my Wing as a stand-by/spare. Bare-bones, however it will at the very least keep you legal in a "Helmet Required" state. WingStuff's price is certainly attractive on this product.
Easy to install. Follow the instructions, with special attentiuon to detail. Super Bright, have a friend with the cowl cover with built in lights, these are noticeably brighter. Took about 1 hour. I went with the solid amber. Really looks cool.

This has been an outstanding addition to the bike. It will make those wonderful long trips much more comfortable. Straight forward to install. One note, during the installation you will need to cut through some of the foam cushion material above the seat pan. This requires a LONG serrated knife or other cutting blade. What ever you choose to use make sure it is between 10 inches to 12 inches long. Most standard household knifes might not be long enough. |

Overall, I found the hitch to be solid. However, the installation did not go completely as anticipated. The installation took about 2 1/2 hours due to technical issues. The bolts that tie the Trunion Bar to the Crash Bar mounting assembly were shipped too long. This ends up making it impossible ,without doing some addition modifications, to fully engage the bolts into the trunion bars. There is not enough clearance for the 2†supplied bolts to keep them from hitting / gouging the saddle bags. Not to mention trying to put the locking nut into place. Have a ‘Dremil’ tool handy. I had to spend several hours, sending emails, photos and phone calls to eventually get the unit installed. Kuryakyn, from what the customer support told me, is going to review the design and possibly make changes. Even Kuryakyn was confused as to the actual length of the bolts. 2 different sized specified in their documentation. You should not have to cut holes into your saddlebags to install their product. I didn’t have to go that far to eventually get it to work, though some of the other reviewers did. I still believe that the product is an overall good product, just that Kuryakyn needs to address some issues. |
I would like to apologize for my previous bad review. After figuring out the email issue, which was causing the folks at Gunz to not receive my emails, they went over and above to make it right. If I could take it back the one star rating, I certainly would. They have made me a very happy customer and I would (and will) recommend them in the future.
I ordered the Gold Wing Centramatic Stainless Steel Wheel Balancers. I made a mistake and ordered the trike and not but bike kit. I called and they said just send the order back and that they would send me the bike kit and credit my wrong order. Wingstuff did what they promised. The Centramatic Balancers work like a charm. They really smooth out the vibrations going down the road on the bike. Seems to make it really easy to make turns with the balancers on the bike. I put on a new set of Dunlap E3's so will have to see what the centramatic balancers does reference cupping.
