These add a nice touch to the bike but they are a mean mother-in-law to get on. If you look in the picture you will see that the side next to the tank doesn't sit flush and it is true. But they look great and its hard to notice its not perfectly flush.

THIS IS A GREAT ADD ON PIECE,HOWEVER THE INSTRUCTIONS LEAVE OUT A FEW THINGS.REMOVE THE TAILLIGHT TO GET TO THE MOUNTING BRACKET ON THE BIKE.REMOVE AND SAVE THE LOWER BRACKET OTHER THAN THAT,PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD.. DREMMEL OF A SMALL PIECE OF REAR FENDER,AND REINSTALL FENDER. |
Took about i min. Used a little silicone for insurance. added to a 2012 Wing.
This is a nice piece for the front end. This is my second front fender tip. The first one was torn of after someone left a 2x4 in the middle of the road right after sharp curve. I was able to stand the bike straight up, hit the 2x4 and it came across the fender and tore the tip off. No damage to the fender but lost the tip.
I installed in about 45 min. There were no rear speakers installed and never were there. I purchased new but don't know why no speakers. So I installed new ones at the same time as replaceing the covers. You have to pull the side pockets to axcess the screws at lease I did so I would also install the wire harness to the speakers. Lookds Great
This is a very nicelly made. It fit my trailer perfectlly . I would have put some measurements of my trailer but it is out being painted to match my bike. It is aproximentlly 40 inches wide. 48 Inches long and 18 inchies High. That is the box only. Add another 6 to 8 inches on the side for the wheels and the thing fit like a glove. For me it was perfect. I just guessed on the thing and it fit. Not the way I like to buy but since they had no measurements posted I figured if it didn't fit just send it back Right
East to install and they are nice. A little bit pricy but worth every penny. Considdering we need all the visability we can get. I installed them and to me they fit perfectlly. Recommended over stock anyday.
Two screws and easy install. Looks great fit perfectlly Good price well made.
I purchased this after reading the reviews. The previous review stated that his rusted and he had to replace it a short time latter. I didn't have that problem. The stuff is under warrenty. You can get new one if it is defective and does't hold up to the weather. Mine has Of cours I am useing New finish was and I keep my bike clean and don't let the weather mess up my expensive chrome. All in all It is a little tricky to install because you attach to existion plastic grill. But once installed it looked great. The price is good too
I read the review before mine and Really don't know what he is talking about. This fit perfectlly. I replaced the ones that were allready on my bike because they were scrached. They fit fine. Well made Plactic but isn't everything these days. I purchased the grills to go into the farring and had to move them to allow the fit of the Grills. One of the drii holes showed due to repositioning. Not a big deal put a stainless steel screw in the hole. Looks great.
I purchase this set and they fit perfectlly. I like the quality and the designe. I recommend them for the sheer convience of haveing a removable bag in place of a paper sack or other such thing to keep your stuff in. Get these you wont be sorry.
After being told that the previous owner glued the windshield in place on my 05, I knew I would have to do something later on. I was right. I was about to take a short ride on a good day at the tail end of winter. Started cleaning the window and in doing so IT MOVED. Closer inspection revealed that the glue he used pulled the black OEM taping off the windshield. Decided to replace the whole thing. The replacement velcro is a novel design, easy to place and they give you plenty to use. For the long portion, I cut it into three pieces to make the curve uniform. Nothing to it. Honda tells you to remove the mirror, but you don't necessarily have too. perfect fit. Windshield is protected nicely for shipping. I will check back in after some miles, or heaven forbid an incident on the road.
