Well rather disappointed that this WILL NOT work/fit on a Kuryakyn trailer hitch. I have one on our GL1500SE which works great and fit the hitch just fine. Just had a Kuryakyn hitch put on our GL1800 and purchased another attachment so I can use the Rivco items we already have. So if you have a Kuryakyn Hitch DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS!!!
Got this for Xmas finally got good enough weather to install, which was a breeze. The only problem I had was one of the screws was almost impossible to get loose and now instead of a philips head it is a square drive :-( The windshield itself seems to be very sturdy, can't wait to get on the road with it. Will try to post again after a few rides.
Nice piece to protect the bike and remote.
Very nice and easy to install. Like the smooth finish for a clean look. Every now and then I do see a reflection on the windshield.
I purchased this patch for the back of my vest, at the top near the collar. It looks really good. Must sew it on if you want to keep it.
Nice addition. It's easy to install. Just take your time and make sure it is straight. Be careful with the rags when washing your bike.
Looks nice and adds nice touch to the front. Easy install.
Just added to my Black 2012 and it looks really good. Just good enough that I will probably add more lights, Man. Only complaint is hiding the wire. it sits right on the tip of the fender and I tried to route it several ways. You cannot really see it but its not as smooth looking as I like.
I used the updated installation instructions which made it very easy to install. Was done in about 2 1/2 hours and hitch is very solid. Can't wait to hook up the trailer and try it out.
Well another couple years and another Bridgestone tire. It would be great to get 50K out of a motorcycle tire like a car tire but I guess that's what you get with 4 tires on the ground instead of 2. Anyway, I was pleased enough with the last Bridgestone so bought another one. Man you got to like how easy it is to get a rear tire off an 1800 goldwing. Ran dyno beads in the last tire and seemed to work so put them in again.
Found the connector under the seat very easy, just kep digging. However, routing the harness to the back of the bike was a chore. What helped me was, instead of trying to fish the wire straight back to the rear of the bike, I place the harness where the directions said and dropped it straight down by the rear wheel. From underneath, you can route the harness to the rear of the bike along the frame and out of harms way. Hope I did not confuss anyone.
Great addition. The written directions were okay but the picture was terrible. After about 15 minutes, I figured it out and the tail end looks really good. 4 stars for the directions.
