| It's nice to be able to organize the little items that you carry in your trunk but it does steal away extra storage space like everyone else has mentioned in the previous posts. I would be nice if they designed it with springs at the mounting points so that it could flex back if you wanted to put a helmet in the trunk. |
| I just finished a 6K round trip ride that started in Dayton, OH and went to Seattle, WA. My friend's and I did this trip in under 9 days and if it hadn't been for this back rest I am sure that my back would have paid for it. |
| I completed a 6K mile ride with my new to me gl1800 and these pegs were on the bike when I bought it. IF it hadn't been for these pegs I believe I would have felt all 6K miles. |
| My big gripe is that unlike the Special Edition version of this shield, you can order the vent hold but not the actual vent.. You can get the Special Edition with the vent included. Why is at important? Well, this shield is thicker than a stock factory shield and the factory vent does not fit easily. I had to do some slight modification so that it would fit. The shape and contours of the shield are a big plus. |
| Easy to install, however because there is a slight curve to the fender, if you want a really good fit have a couple spring loaded, rubber tipped clamps ready. |
| Have had Utopia, and it is very good. This back rest is a couple notches above! Requires same prep as Utopia. Have to cut and clear Chanel to insert the support. The support channel that this backrest slides into, is heavy duty, built to last. You can adjust the height of the backrest as well as angle, or remove it writhing a couple seconds. Very impressed. It fells like it is slightly wider and taller than the Utopia which provides excellent support. |

| Great look, easy install for just about anyone. If you can change a light bulb, you can probably do this. Draw less amps than conventional fog lights. |
