After my local dealer tried to rip me off by trying to charge me $40,- for a OEM air filter i found this baby on here, ordered and installed it.Lots of stuff to take off to get to the right place but its an interesting experience to do some things yourself instead of paying someone an outrageous amount of money for it. I love this air filter....my wing feels like it got a bit more "get up'n go" power because it sucks in more air now. Also....this filter is washable and should last a long time. Well worth the money. |
| After installation, I could right away tell the big difference in riding. Riding was more comfortable and very stable ride. Like day and night difference. Also while installing the front suspension I went on ahead and also replaced the steering bearing, now my 2008 Goldwing fills like a new bike. Thank Wingstuff, also your delivery was great, fast, and all the other ten items I ordered were their all accounted for. Great service. |
| I have owned this products for months now and I must say it has paid itself off at least 5 times over. I have recharged my home security backup battery, my wife cars, my sons motorcycles, and at work it has recharged countless of backup UPS systems that I oversee as a contracted I.T. technician. I cannot do without now... love it. |
| It is a good idea to change these washers out (every other) oil change. I bought them just to have a few extra on hand. |
| Wrench is both a drain wrench and a filter wrench. only one thing the handle is a bit too long to grasp filter, with ground clearance close. |
| The direction are easy to follow, accept they are not complete. On #5 you also have to remove the screws that hold the antenna bracket (which Goldwing does not have a radio)also to get the pocket off. MAKE sure you have the template position correct to drill your holes for the corners. The top of switch needs to be even with the ridge of the radius. Too low and you will cut into the slot for the "floor" of the pocket. The switch could be in the way for reassembly. FYI 5mm is .196 use a 3/16 bit and 3mm is .118 use a 1/8 bit. I ran a small bead of black silicone around outer edge to seal and to help holding . |
| Buy this and y adapter to save time and much more dependable than wire splicing! |

Again I bought these for my Alaska trip and I think there could be a better mounting. That is a lot of wing for the tiny little bolt to hold when your doing 60 MPH and a big truck comes the other way and then the wing turns and into the bike and scratches the paint. The little rubber sticky thing fell off. The bracket should be designed to stop the turn so it does not hit bike. Again it helps keep the cold air off your hands and its a nice product. When hot turn it toward you. |

I got these a yr ago and before heading on a trip to Alaska.(from eastern Pa.to the Artic circle) 13000 miles later they still look good and even after the 13000 miles of which approx. 500 mile was gravel. They do keep the air off you and if its hot turn them and it blows the air across you. Turn the bottom ones in and you get a little heat from the radiator. Adds a touch of class to bike. |
| In Northern Illinois the Winters are long and cold. Before I started using this wonderful little charger I had to jump the battery to start up. Now with the Tender charging through the winter the battery is fully charged and ready to go. My batteries last a couple of years longer and it works great on the new Deltran Lithium Battery. |
| These are great they work very well and look good |
| I purchased my Bridgestone Motorcycle tires last year and I have been very satisfied with the price as well as turnaround time for shipping. I love the quality of the Bridgestone tires because they work very well in the weather especially in the rain. I hate riding in the rain but mage to get caught in it numerous of time and these tires have performed very well for me. I've tried other brands of tire but none has performed in the rain better than the Bridgestone. You can't beat the quality and brand. I use Bridgestone's on all my vehicles. |
