Works Great, wiring is a bit tricky.
I installed this piece of hardware and while it didn't tax my skills, I had to get a bit creative with the wiring and tucking everything away. I chose not to drill any holes, I used sticky tape. Also, I mounted it under the trunk, right side covered by the right piece that pops off. Works great. I've had it in for over a year now and I've had no troubles. I also added the LED tail lights for some added pop. You can REALLY see the difference when both of these are in play. My cop-neighbor said that over 70% of accidents are caused by getting rear ended... these simulate light movement and really get your attention. -----video link below----- Also also spent a bunch of extra time soldering wires and wrapping/heat shrinking connections as I didn't want to come back to it in a year. Also, I ride rain or shine, hot or cold. 12k miles in 1 year. I FULLY endorse this product and if I could remember the specifics of the install, I'd talk about it. Hmmm... .I wonder if I could put another one on the lowers.... lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_5qQg7j3fA |

Bought and installed this on my GW 1800's spoiler that has LED's. Simple installation and using mode 2. Provides a good attention getter when viewed from the rear. Ordered a second one for my son's 1500. Cannot vouch for longevity but seems beefy enough to last a while. I would recommend this for anyone riding a bike regardless of make. |

Awesome
Installed this device to the Honda lighted Trunk Spoiler on my 2006 Goldwing several years ago. Have in Mode 2 so that it flashes 5 times quickly, then stays on. Many people have commented on how effective the flashing spoiler light works when applying the brakes. Well worth the money to prevent getting rear ended! |

Works great for me. I have mine set up so it flashes the spoiler light only right now. I plan to add the two unused lights on the trunk (they only operate as running lights from Honda) once I get the pins in to add a wire to the connector. For those of you having problems, make sure you read the max capacity on this. If your using regular bulbs and trying to power all the rear lights on the wing your likely overloading this past the 10 amp max. Pick which lights you want and use only them. The spoiler light is controlled by the green/red wire in the grey connector just in front of the relay box under the seat. It involves cutting a wire to run this in series with the lights but you can use connectors that will allow you to remove this and just plug the original wires back together if your state inspection rules prevent you from running this or if you ever feel like you may need to bypass this. |

After seeing some complaints here, I am in a quandary as to why. I have written instructions if anyone would like them, which I made with PICTURES. I use just the trunk lights, as they are at eye level, and the best chance of getting noticed. Installation would be 30 minutes if you did it for the second time, and 2 hours for the first (assuming you are reading as you are doing the installation) I have had mine installed for several years and 20,000 miles with no issues. Email me through this forum, and include a direct email to you in the text as this BBS will not allow me to add an attachment. Happy Riding |

Worked great for about a year. Then it quit and wouldn't even light my brake lights when I hit the brakes. Sent it to Manufacturer and they sent it back saying they tested it and it worked fine. I reinstalled it with same results. Does not work. No further help available from manufacturer. I won't buy another one of thiers, but I might buy another brand. The effect is great for safety (as long as it works.) |

I had this installed on my GL1800. Works great by getting others attention. Wish the Flashes were just a little bit faster. But still, it does the trick! |
