A little difficult to install, I ended up using a wood clamp - gently - to snap the two halves together. My bike already had a set when I purchased it, but they were either an older design, or were installed incorrectly, and the rubber insets kept working themselves out at the ends. The replacement set has a single piece rubber insert, where the ones I removed had two piece equivalents. Did the installer of the originals cut them in half to make installation easier? If that is the case, they ruined them. |

I have large hands, feels great. A little hard to get on but worth it. Heat does take a little longer but works fine. |

The jury is still out on these grips. I found them extremely difficult to install and for an average size guy like me the much larger grip is hard to get used to. I have also discovered that the grip heaters barley heat up now, good thing I live in Arizona. The grips look great but in my opinion are not very functional. If I had it make the chioce to buy these again I would pass on the opportunity - Not satisified with this Kuryakyn at all. |

I'm very satisfied with these grips. I was on the waiting list last year before they were even available. My hands would get ackey from holding those skinney oem grips. I wanted the bigger grips but didn't want to give up the heated grips-so was glad when these came along. The heat takes a bit longer to come through but they do heat up--now I have the throttle boss--needs to be installed |

I went for these a year ago for looks and that part works. Added the helmet locks and they are functional, but flimsy and require hangers because the D ring just barely won't fit. The grip installation was a challenge and I lost 75% of the heat transfer (up here in Canada that's no small concession). Good news - I can now usefully spend my time at red lights tucking the rubbers back in. Maybe someday will reinstall them using my own methology. Along with the crap $40 Kury R/S fairing pouch I am staying away from all accessories till I see one mounted and happy on someone else's gwing. |

Nice for the eye, hard for the hand. The grip is much bigger than original, heating takes longer time to start. Very difficult installation. Left is not fixed after several reinstallations and rolls a bit. |

It took a while to get them fitted right. Mine do not slip I like the fill of the big grips. It takes longer for the grips to heat up, but they work fine. I gave them a 4 because of the trouble fitting them. |

I really like the look of these cept, the sticky tape doesn't work too well and the rubber keeps coming out when I put the bike on the center stands and have to grip it tight. Also the left grip turns some. I'm going to try some type of sealent this weekend. |

I thnk the chrome look sets the bike off, so I have no desire to paint them to match the bike. I had no problem installing them after the obligatory 3 beer preparation(lol). The trick is to have them situated EXACTLY the way you want them and slide them home as quick as possible since the glue sets like immediately. No, they don't absorb any road shock, but my leather gloves stick them nicely, so I don't get a bit of `grip hand'. |

P.S. Nope, sorry...can't get the rubber portion of the grips off the Hondaline grips to get them painted to match the bike (see my previous review) I'll keep watching the website to see if somebody comes up with something for a color match for the comfort package. As usual, will let you know. |

same as most of you, having problems with the rubber coming out all the time, the tape does suck, but I managed to make it work somewhat, at least to the point the grips don't twist on the bars by covering the grips with a paper towel, then wrapping electric tape very tightly over the whole grip to keep pressure on it all night, and that stopped the slippage I was having upon installation. Also, I do like the size, but I have huge hands, but I do feel like I lost an awful lot of the heat he factory grips had - for me, at least, it doesn't really feel like it gets warm anymore, at least nothing like it used to |
