Shifting is much smoother with this over regular oil. Very satisfied with performance. I may go full synthetic next time to see if can get even better. Will definately stick with the Honda brand either way. |

Great price from WingStuff compared to stealership .... don't know I see much difference from the GN4 with shifting as others have commented, but each wing is unique. I always change oil around 4-5K, so when draining the old, still looks new. My local stealership mechanic actually tried to down-sell me (a new one for me) the last time I bought there, telling me that all of his mechanics, several with wings, just run regular oil, but still a hot topic of debate.... perhaps I buy too much into the synthetic or partially-synthetic claimed attributes, but hey, guess its up to your personal views. |

Until this oil change, I always had the dealer do it for me. Who knows what kind of oil they were putting in my GW!! With this oil, the bike runs smoother, shifts smoother, and feels better going down the road. I highly recommend it!! |

I have changed the oil on my GL1800 twice and the Honda dealer has change it once so far. My engine runs very clean, makes lots of power and doesn't leak or burn any oil. I have changed the oil with this brand every 3,000 miles since I bought it used. I didn't know the history of the bike when I bought is so I have changed it more often. I'll probably to to 5,000 miles as time goes on instead of the recommended 8,000 in the owners manual. Better price than at the dealership also. My son uses Amsoil in his ZX14 drag bike but I'll have to see if it is OK for the wing. I use the oil filters listed on the GL1800 section of WingStuff also. Great write ups in the review section on those also. |

Used this 10/40 oil and Honda filter. Seems to run smoother (might be my imagination) and shifts real nice. Oil and filter change needs 3.9 quarts. |

Ran 4k on this HP4, improved the shift, and didn't noitce the loud clunk when shifting in hot ambient temps. Just bought a case of it for my next 3 oil changes |

I like this oil. It performs well, and if changed every 4,000 miles it should have little degradation in that time. Personally I prefer full-synthetic because it maintains lubricating properties and viscosity better than mineral oils. The advantage of this mix is the higher hot-viscosity, but it's those viscosity additives that leave oil first and you're left with 10W30 after a several thousand miles. So if you change according to the manual schedule, then I suggest full synthetic. That's what I'm going back to. |

Noticed a difference in the shifting,A lot smoother shifting than other motorcycle oil. Why would you pay over 20,000 on A goldwing and put car or truck oil in it. There not made the same your clutch and gears are all made together on a motorcycle. Put motorcycle oil in A motorcycle and car or truck oil in A car or truck. Would you put motor oil in your car or trucks transmissions or transmissions oil. |

I am sure everyone has read tons of threads about what oil to use. I am a die-hard synthetic advocate. I find this blend the cats meow for the GL and has tested the best verses other synthetics in my Blackstone reports. |
