| Had the 2 piece set (another brand) on my 03 wing. Just moved up to a 13 wing and wanted to try these. Really like that you don't have to drill holes! Much cleaner look and they work well to move the heat away from the bike/rider. Installation was easy, but you do have to watch that you don't drop the washer and/or lock nut down behind the lowers. |

| I like the look of the lowers. No drilling (Which I liked) and they stay in place while moving. However, it does direct heat to your feet. On a really hot day, you will feel it. Very Pleased. |

This was the first add-on that we installed ourself on our new bike. Popping off the cover trim was not as easy as the video made it look, at least on the left side. It was very hard to get off. Was affraid that I was going to break it. (could have just been beginner nerves.) Once on the bike it did help to deflect the engine heat off of the knee area and shifted it to the ankle and foot for the rider and the same for my wife. Not sure that this can be helped, if the deflector went lower then it would be difficult to get to the highway pegs. I am sure that this product will be the biggest help when the weather is cooler to draw the heat to us. |
