I installed two of these. The Honda specific plug-and-play model in the top of the trunk liner, and one in the CD player well in the bottom, under the cover. Installation of both was straight forward, and I would suggest that you install the upper one in conjunction with other modifications that require the top liner removal - there are a lot of screws to remove to do one thing at a time. I use the upper one for more portable devices, and the lower one for things I take out less frequently, or when I need to charge a couple of things at once (usually a buddy's phone or iPod he forgot to charge). |

I got the one for the trunk and it was a snap to install. Just measure twice before you drill a hole...... I now need a 1.125" rubber plug to fill a hole |

Got the trunk one. I was concerned about it simply pushing into the hole that was drilled and not having a "nut like" attachment on the reverse side. Not to worry though, if you drill the 1 1/8 hole the plug will fit snugly into the hole. It took me longer to get all the 19 screws off and the inner trunk lid undone that to drill and attach the plug! |

4 STARS FOR THIS ONE -LOCATION OF THE INSTALL WAS NOT QUITE AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN-THIS IS A VERY STRATEGIC INSTALL A VERY SMALL SPACE TO PUT THIS THING WAS VERY DIFFICULT ?? INSTRUCT WAS NOT UP TO SNUFF ON THIS ONE- IF YOU DON'T DO IT EXACTLY (THE DRILLING) YOU ARE LOST FOR A PLACE TO PUT THIS THING IN THE TRUNK AREA ? GOOD PRODUCT THO- LOOKS LIKE A HONDA GINUINE PRODUCT???? FOR THE TRUNK . SO GO GET SOME- !!!!!!!! |

This is a great trunk accessory. Very clean install, looks like it came from the factory. The 1 1/8 hole is a tad big, but I used hot glue to secure it in place as another reviewer mentioned. Thanks for the tip. This upgrade is easy, inexpensive, looks great and very useful. No reason not to do it! |

When you have a notebook that you want to charge while on the road - this solves that. I places this in the trunk and now I have charge outlet for my notebook and iPad while on the road. |

This product works great and is plug and play. My only issue is that I am new to the world of the wing so I didn't know exactly where to install it in the pocket. I could easily see the things that would prevent a clean install so I put it in the lower portion of the front facing wall of the pocket. It works fine, but I would have liked at least a hand drawn sketch of where it should have gone (on the diagonal section) the instruction states that there is supposed to be some indication on the pocket itself. On a 2010 there was nothing. The price is good and it's plug and play which is always nice. |

I bought the power plug for the fairing and it works perfectly. Why some would choose to spend twice as much on the Hondaline power plug is beyond me. I only use it to charge my cell phone or to use my Airman tire compressor, and it works perfect for both so I'm happy. 5 stars! |

I ordered the Gl1800 plug for the faring. The instructions were very clear for the removal of the pocket. I drilled the hole with a 7/8 bit and the hole was perfect. Locating the plug took a few moments as it was inside the moisture cover next to the aux input wire. Installation was very easy and the unit works great. |
