This kit is for GL1800 2nd Gen with already existing trailer hitches. An adapter is provided to fit your hitch. The Packit Rak is designed to support 25 pounds including the weight of the luggage bag, which weighs approx. 7 lbs. Bag demensions are 21" Wide x 12" Tall 11" Deep. The bag is strong, sturdy and constructed with rigid foam laminated sides, including top & bottom, which allows it to hold it's shape, even when completely empty, and is water resistant. The bag cover slips over the bag and pan corners to keep luggage bag dry, free from road grime and fading from the sun.Intalls in 45 minutes or less with minimal tools required.
