I have had this jacket for 2 years. I am very pleased with the quality, warmth, and protection.....albeit I have not had to actually check the protection out yet. Just on Christmas Day 12-25-2011, I rode 500 miles and 200 was in the ran at 70 mph. With the windshield low on the Wing, this jacket took the punishment and kept the areas covered warm and dry. The hood that pops out of the collar was an nice compliment to my ski mask I already wear. That hood kep water from going into the back of my collar. I receive a lot of compliments when I wear it with the matching bib-like pants. I have never used the water bladder. I would definately recommend if you would like great quality products and you don't care about the extra $$$.
