Replace the mounting bracket
| I bought mine off Willie's E-bay page, and as some others have said the mounting bracket broke from vibration. However, as others have noted, I made mounting bracket from some heavy aluminum and it's great. I made my bracket just slightly taller in order to raise the acorn knob higher than the handle bar. |

Love it!!
| Install literally took 5 minutes and works great for cans with the cozy that comes with it and bigger drink cups when you take the cozy out. Very sturdy, everything I was hoping for. |

Plastic mount broke
| After 2 years and 20,000 miles the bracket broke, probably from much vibration. I had used it for a tall metal coffee cup and it jiggled a little at highway speeds. Get a metal one instead. |

Cool rider beverage holder
| I bought one of these because I was cheap and didn't want to spend a fortune to carry a cup of coffee or a bottled water.I have had it on for two years and never had any problem with it. I have shoved about everything in it and I have put over 30000 miles on my 2008 gold wing . I just came back from a 4000 mile ride and the only thing wrong is I needed another one to add another bottle of water so I don't have to stop and get one out all the time. I think if there is a weak spot on it ,it has to be the mount although I have not had any problem at all . I would suggest you watch how much touch you tighten the bolts .They only need to be just enough to hold it tight . |

Update
| After reading some reviews about the bracket breaking, I made the exact bracket out of aluminum. It works great and I dont have to worry about it breaking and losing my drink |

so far so good
| In 1 season of moderate use holding even very big large sized McDonalds soda the quality is holding up. The best cupholder on the market for the price without question. I liked it so much I bought another one for around 20 bucks to install one on each side of my handlebars for a passenger as well. Only thing I worry about is the plastic breaking after a few years of use since plastic and sun don't mix over time and can crack and become brittle. I don't know why others are complaining about not fitting water bottles, etc. rattling around since both of mine came with foam cup cozzy liners (soft foam) to fit a lot of bottles snug and secure with no rattles. Only time will tell if it last 5 years or more but as of now, works great. Plus, I will keep my receipt since Barefoot willies guarantees this for a lifetime so if it ever breaks all I have to do is call the company and have them send me another one for free. I think the 2 weak points over time may be the bolts going thru the plastic on the handlebars and the metal bolt holding the cup on that is adjustable may break the plastic if tightened on too hard but I have cranked pretty darn hard to secure both on handlebars and the cup slider bolt itself and so far, it is solid doesn't move and has not broke. For plastic, it is decent quality plastic and definitely not junk plastic that will break right off the bat. I bought a liquid caddy brand and modified the swinging back and forth and that broke off my handlebars almost instantly cranking it down tight and that was about 15 bucks so 20 for this is a lot better quality. |

excellent cup holder
| I purchased this cup holder about 2 years ago and I wouldnt leave home without it. I found 2 mugs that fit the holder perfectly 1 is the 16 oz wawa mug [you have to remove the rubber thing on the bottom half of the cup. It slides off without any trouble.] The other is the 18 oz bubba mug. Looks good wont rust and its perfect for me on those chilly mornings with a good hot cup of coffee within arms reach. Excellent purchase. |

I thought this was the one.
| I liked the vertical slot that might accomodate the handle of a cup, and it won't rust in the rain either. The mounting hardware is of good quality and it installed easily. But here's the rub. I don't own a single cup that fits snugly in this holder, and besides the threat of a cup bouncing out, the most annoying thing is the constant rattle of the loose cup in the holder. This one is going to the swap meet. |

Inexpensive Alternative
| I had resisted buying much more costly cup holders watching for something more affordable. For the price this holder does the job well. I have even used it to throw change into for tolls. |

Waste of money
| Recently bought and installed one on my wing and one on my wifes wing, after 200 miles the bracket snapped and the holder and the cup I had in it fell off, fortunatly we were stopped and I was able to catch the container. My wife has stopped using hers. In my opinion a waste of money. If your going to get one buy a better one than this. |

Drink holder
| Good product. good price. I liked the look of the quick release holder for passenger from previous purchase so I attached the holder from it to this mount and put it on the handlebar. |
