| I decided on this over the "seat cutting" models because the "seat cutting" modifications did not seem to afford lateral protection and appeared they would hurt the seat over time. This is not an issue with this style. Went on easily... Guard against cross threading the knobs (installation warns of this), and this seems easy to do... otherwise very satisfied with this backrest... |

| Great investment for the long trip support. They only change that would be nice would be if there was an adjustment for the angle of the back rest pad. |

| Installed today and it feels great. Looks really good on the bike. Short test ride after install (cold weather) but can tell it is going to make trips even more enjoyable. (Didnt think that was possible.) |

| The reason I gave this item 4 out of 5 stars is there is little to no aft adjustment. After installing it I had to move it all the way back in the side sliders to get backrest to vertical with rider seatback. (as it shows in picture) Other than that it looks great, was easy to install, and makes riding long distances a breeze. |
