Just returned from a 4300 mile trek from Vancouver Island (Canada) to South Dakota. On our return trip home from Spearfish, we ran 675 miles the first day & 650 the second day. Could not have done it without the Airhawks. Before the trip, I ordered my Wife a 14x11 Pillion seat cushion, which fits perfectly behind my Utopia Back rest. The medium Cruiser is too big for the passenger seat if you have a back rest. My Wife absolutely loved her cushion. Not only was it comfortable for her, but kept her butt cool & moisture free in the heat of South Dakota. Normally she wears a back brace to protect her delicate spine from any large bumps or potholes. Because the Airhawk cushioned her from any shocks to her back, she did not have to wear the brace once during our two week voyage. This product had more than fulfilled my expectations of it. Also notice on our trip, a large number of Harley owners were also using the Airhawks. Now I highly recommend this product to all my riding friends. |

What a great product. Was going to have a custom seat made, but now it won't be necessary. Liked my medium sized Airhawk so much on a recent trip, I placed another order to Wingstuff to get one for my Wife. Not only is it very comfortable, but also absorbs a lot of the road bumps. Plus, no more 'Monkey Butt'. Definitely worth the money. |

5 stars so far, will see if it holds up based upon previous reviews, but looking at the sturdy materials, I am optamistic. I am going to give some extra info on this review as I did not see it when I was searching the reviews before purchase (I also searched several of the GoldWing forums and noticed that this was a popular choice before going to the next step of pricey full custom seat). I ordered the "medium" and installed it easilly on my 2008. For those of you considering to buy, the medium size seems to be correct. It fits nicely, leaving less then 2" of the OEM seat exposed at the front end, and less than 1 and 3/4" exposed on the left and right sides (At the furthest of each side contour). It does come with 2 adjustable straps that hook into the loops, seen in the picture; Without removing the seat, the front strap slid easilly underneath the front of my stock seat. I wrapped the rear strap ends around my back-rest mount and then hooked to the cushion loops - stays snug even with hitting the brakes hard. I may add some tape to the strap hooks just to make sure that they don't scratch my paint or dig into the seat cover ..... just to be safe. The air-bladder portion has individual "cells" that allow air to transfer to and from each, therefore, as you move your weight around, you can feel the cells transfer air between themselves to balance out. As others have commented, start out with minimum air .... sit on it, move around, adjust from there. So far, it does seem that it helps a great deal with pressure points, but I will know more when I fnish my 1000 mile trip back home - and will update. It did raise me up in the seat (which I expected) an inch or so; Anyone with shorter legs should consider the additional seat height based upon the amount of air that you add. |

Excellent product. I purchased one for each of us before our ride back from Destination Daytona. The seven-hour trip back home was so much more enjoyable without the pain in my *#@! The trick is to use as little air as possible, just enough to keep from bottoming out. It is easy to adjust your seating position on the move. You can make better time because you need less stops on those long hauls. |

I have both the rider and passenger Airhawk seats. We have traveled well over 800 miles on some days with these seats. Without them we were struggleing with 400 miles in a day of riding. These area must have for any rider who wants to see a lot of country in a days time. |

Super Comfort Item!! This little gem is the treasure you'll fight over! Makes 800 miles days seem like 100! The quality concerns about it's durability are not unfounded; mine developed a leak at the outer edge seam at the front of the cover;length of time owned at time of failure: 2 years, 5 months, the warranty is for 2 years! It let me down about 900 miles from home, so I can't give it 5 stars. I'm going to send it back to SOHO for repair, and would like to get a spare, but now I'm skeptacle...like the other "Wingmen", $160.00 is a little steep for a product that goes belly up when the warranty does! The Verdict: Comfort: 5+ Quality: Roll the Dice! |

My Air Hawk lasted about 8 years. My first one developed a leak around the base of the valve stem and they replaced it. I learned real fast to keep it out of the sun. The replacement lasted 8 years when one of the segments cracked. I put a tire patch on it and it held up until while in Mexico I forgot and left it on the bike and someone walked off with it. They didn't get much. So all in all it wasn't too pricey. Be sure to check it over real well in a year and 9 months and if there are any cracks around the stem, return it for a new one and keep it out of the sun. |
