First set of these tires and I am really pleased! I have used Elite III tires on my bike and though they are good tires the Avons are superior. Put the larger 70 sreies on the rear and the speedometer is now corrct. Drove from Oregon to Deals Gap and rode the Dragon! 7700 miles and the bike handeled great. Lean and let them turn! Tracked like they were nailed to the road. Still have a great deal of tread left after the trip. Floor boards took a beating! |

I replaced with the rear with the 60 series. Based on reviews - I should have purchased 70's. However, I have no complaints. Great tire at a good price from wingstuff. |

This is a continuation of my previous review. These tires are awesome. I rode to Indianapolis for the Indy 500 and their performance was excellent. I experienced hot days through Louisiana to mild days in Indiana. Long straight interstate to twisties coming through the mountains in Kentucky and these tires were phenomanal. I rode for two hours in steady rain at 60 to 70 mph with no problems. I highly reccomend them. |

Bought a set of these babies last summer. Right now i have a little over 5K miles on them. Still look new. These things stick to the road like glue. Quite on all surfaces. I was worried about the rain...but these things hardly know its wet. IF i get 20K on these things hey ... i am sold forever..... a for right now .. i would buy them again. Good luck and keep the shinny side up . |

I love these tires, unlike the Elites and the Metzelers they are very sticky and you have to be looking to even know your crossing a rut or a hole. I can drag my rear bags and not slide with these, not something I suggest doing but these things are great and it's like riding a much lighter bike. I put on the 70 profile for the rear giving me a bit more clearance for the turns and even when they do give they give gradually so it's easy to recover, scares the hell out of those sports bikes that are trying to keep up with me :)) I Love Them!!! |

Just had front and rear cobras installed on my 07 Goldwing. Purchased the 70 series for the rear. I immediately could tell the difference upon leaving the dealership. The grip in slow turns and the ride was amazing. I am kind of short in thinseam and was a little apprehensive about the 70 series possibly raising my seat heigth. I couldn't tell the difference. If these babies feel this good on my trip to Indianapolis for the race next month, it should be a smooth ride. |

Just put on the rear tire yesterday. Went with the 70 and must agree with Firebuddy...WOW!! Have ran Dunlop, Metzler & Bridgestones and really like the feel of the Cobra's. Will keep you posted on tread life. |

I have been running Avon tires for years and had never had a problem. This last set of Avon Cobra’s had around 20,000 miles when the tread was showing through on the rear tire. I do not advocate running a tire until the tread shows before you change it out. But as for mileage these tires are as good as they get. The front tire is still going and they were both put on at the same time. As for gripping the road I think they are the best ever. Whatever tire you’re running now and when you when you change them out to Avon Cobra’s you’ll notice a huge difference for the better. |

WOW....after 121,780 miles I have tried just about all the tires that are made and by far...the Avon Cobras ,regular front and the 70 series rear are well all I can say is "FANTASTIC"..They are smooth as a babies butttt, and very silent...the grip of thease tires are about the best ever, and I noticed it immediately...If I could give the tires a six star rating ,I would.. |

AWESOME, I was always nervous with the d250, i felt it give to many times. Last summer I ran over a nail and replaced the rear with the Cobra and love it. My wife said I hit it on purpose, I didn't but knowing what I do now I would have the day I bought it. can;t wait to replace the front this summer. It makes it feel like a sport bike, unbelievable grip in the twisties. My wife even noticed the difference when I started draggin the pegs with her on the back. |

I purchased the Avon Cobra tires (700 series for rear) back on November 12 and I wanted to put some miles on both tires before writing a review. As a rule, new tires always feel great, but the true test is the "run in" to see how the tires perform in all weather and road conditions over time. The very first thing I noticed with the Cobra's was the lack of vibration you feel in the handlebars and the shake noticed in the side mirrors... ALL GONE! Now with 6,400 miles on the Cobra's, my 1800 still rides smoother then any tire I've used previously. I've done the Dunlop, Bridgestone and Metzeler tires and none of them ride nearly as smooth as the Avon's. At 6,400 miles, I still haven't developed the "hum" while leaning that I've experienced with the other brands I've mentioned, time (and miles) will tell. I ride my Goldwing hard in the twisties and I'm confident with the grip. The Bridgestone tires have a slight edge for wet riding conditions and hot tar strips only because Bridgestone's have a softer compound, but they wear out to quickly for my taste. As stated previously, time and miles will be the true test, so far they deserve the 5 star rating for a smooth ride and no humming, which competes with my music. I still have a lot of tread to go. Dave in the service department at Wingstuff hooked me up with a new 70 series cobra rear tire. These are smooth and quite. Had a chance to ride in the rain and the grip was good. So far very happy with the tire. We will have to see how long it lasts. I will keep you posted |
