| very nice rack, the crome looks good, looks great on the wing, dont even start this job until you run a tap down the threads so the bolts will go in. it took me about 30 min. to get the threads clean enough to get the bolts in. mearsure twice drill once. |

| 4 stars mainly for its bang for bucks. It looks quite good on a cursory inspection and at a relatively low price it's going to do the job- just don't look too close. I was quite impressed with the fittings kit that comes with it. With mounting, it's more an art than science. I don't think that a template would work because the racks are probably all different out of the factory. The location of legs, the bends in the wire and even the angles are all slightly different and the rack is not perfectly symmetrical. You can't mount the rack by measuring. Put it on and eyeball its position with a friend giving back up opinions and when it looks right, drill and mount. |

| LOOKS GOOD ON WING,WISH THEY HAD A TEMPLET FOR EASIER INSTALL, WORKOUT WELL THOU, JUST MARKED THE SPOTS TO DRILL WITH A MARKER AND THEN CENTERING THE AWL TO MARK THE DRILLING SPOTS, BOUGHT THE STAR WASHERS ALSO,, BUT DECIDED TO NOT USE THEM ON TOP, SO I USED THEM ON THE INSIDE TO SUPPORT THE RACK BETTER...SOLID AS A (RACK)ROCK WORKED OUT GREAT!!!HAVE GL1800 2008 |

| This rack was easy to install. I did have to drill out the holes a little more than instructed due to the angle of the trunk. Looks great on the bike and holds my stuff that I do not want to put in the trunk while riding. |

| This is a really nice looking rack on the bike. I did manage to get up the nerve to drill into the trunk simce I'm not too mechanically inclined, but I just followed the directions that came with it and the installation was pretty simple. You just need to watch the angle you drill or the holes in the outer and inner trunk won't line up right with the rack legs. This happened with one of my holes but I just enlargened the inner trunk hole and it lined up just fine. I also had the personal issue of dropping the 4mm allen wrench down between the seat and the trunk but a simple towel draped across there (after the 3rd time) prevented any further fishing for the allen wrench. |

| I took off a Kuryakyn that cost over $200.00, it had the worst chrome i have ever had. I called kuryakyn and they did not want to do anything about it so I bought this one and put it on my 1800 goldwing and should have bought this one first, it is a lot better chrome and looks better for a third of the price. |

| The install is easy, you just have to get up the nerve to start drilling the trunk lid. The LED spoiler fits under the rack. I would mount the spoiler first, if you are planing on getting both.I have not had any problem with rust, I keep it clean and well waxed. |

Looks great. Installs fairly easily. I recommend using a 5/16" drill bit rather than the 1/4" called for in intsructions. This gives you a little more wiggle room in case your drill holes are not perfectly vertical. Another tip: Run the screws into the rack before trying to mount. This will clear the threads of excess choming making starting the screws much easier. Finally: Don't buy the large chrome washers seen elsewhere on this site. They don't work well with the sloped trunk on the GL1800. The packaged washers work much better although smaller. |

| Good looks, easy to mount, and does the business of holding a fair sized rack bag. And, you can't beat the price. I have never liked the look of the flat bar racks. This one looks like it belongs on the GW trunk. |
