| A ROYAL PAIN IN THE A*** TO INSTALL. A IDIOT DESIGNED THIS. WAY TO MUCH PRYING AND CUSSING TO INSTALL A HITCH. THE BOLTS ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH AND I STRIPPED OUT ONE AND HAD TO GO BUY A DYE SET TO RETHREAD IT. AND THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE A JOKE. THE PICTURES ARE IN BLACK AND WHITE WITH POOR DETAIL. WE HAD TO GUESS WHAT WENT WHERE. TRIAL AND ERROR GOT US THRU. BUT I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ADDONS AGAIN. |
| It took the better part of 15 minutes to get the new boards on -- the detent issue was a non-event. After a test ride, my wife said that they're more comfortable than she'd hoped for. (Yipee!) When she's comfortable I'm comfortable. Ya'gottaloveit... |
| I like the looks after adding few chromes to my bike. This is tad plain but yet helps add some chrome on my handle bars. Its not as strong as i expected it to be but its strong enough to screw and leave it. |
| hate to repeat what other says but its all true, simple to install and it added feature to the front of my trike. It feels more sporty. Its definitely recommended to buy this due to the looks and it adds characters to ur bike. |
| i would agree with other person who provided some feedback- wheres the instruction and had to use the bolts on bottom to hold on to it- would prefer something more simplier to put it in and go. I have to use my brain on how to install it which i m not in the mood to do lately. :) |
| can say one simple thing about it- it makes my trike looks very cool and sporty.... makes my front of my goldwings more cooler and added feature to the looks. |
| Great product. The plug and leave feature makes it simple to use. Connect the plug unit to your battery one time and then simply plug it in when parking your bike. Thus you don't need to use the clamps. |
| To all. I know it's just my opinion but these tires will do the job for you on the GL-1800! I ride all year round, every day, rain or shine, to and from work in the Atlanta area. No wobble! And they last up to 12k miles (rear) 20K miles plus (front) with hard (90-Mph cruising speed) riding up and down I-85 and I-285 in the rain, heat of summer and the cold. The front tire is real good in the rain. The rear tire will begin to growl a bit in the twilight stage of its life. I'm on my 2nd rear/1st front and will replace them with another Stone again. | After getting over the fear of cutting into the seat to install, it wasn't that bad. Glad I bought this one, looks great (no bars) and feels even better on my back. |
