Takes all of 10 min. to install and look and feel better than OEM. they do add about 1" to peg height, but I got used to it after my first ride. |
Great comfort in riding. I have ridden with them for 2 years and would not go without them. |
It really dresses the side of the Goldwing up. It looks like it flys even when it is standing still. |
I gave it 3 stars because the chrome has flaked off two separate sets. The first set I sent back to Kury and they shipped out another pair no problems. The same thing has happen to the other set. Only one arm has the crome flaking off. I have to call them again. The Goldwing has always been stored inside. My daughters love the arm rest though. Cup holder is fine. |
I love my backrest. I have had it since day one. It allows you to rest without slumping your back and getting a back ache on those long rides. |
First off, Kuryakyn has been dropping the ball of late. Too many items with parts missing and when you call, oh that does not come separate.... The trunk handle, I found the screws too short with the gasket in place, ALSO, the directions lack, IE drill the holes thru the latch holes, with the inner lid attached. If I had seen this item first, I would not have purchased. IE sticks out too much for me. For what it's worth. |
Had it six months now. Three good trips and 4000 miles later it still looks great and was a really smart buy on my part! |
Great product, tiny little parts, but it keeps your pins very secure. |
Great bargin for the price. I had a problem with the first set sent out and WingStuff stood behind the product and sent a new piece. Found one of the snaps on the trunk piece doesn't snap well due to how it is set in the carpet, shouldn't be a big problem. They almost cover the helmet lock release, but, for the price, the fit is OK. |
Easy to install and like others have stated do spend the couple extra bucks and get one with rubber insert. gives that little extra to the dash area. |
Received my on friday and installed it yesterday. Easy to install and glad I got risers with it cause they made alot easier to install it with them right away. Used the original washers that came with the rack for the bottom of bolt head, so the trunk has more surface covered then the small washers. Figured that will give alot lease stress to the lid with more surface coverage. Do yourself a favor and do get the risers, makes locateing the holes to be drilled a bit easier. Measure 2 or more times before drilling and will save you alot of headaches. Was the first rack I installed that I didn't need to play around with getting bolts started. I have installed racks on all the different Bikes I have had in the past and like I said this was the easiest ever. The chrome on the rack is great but like someone else mensioned, depents on how the sun hits it you can see some milling marks in the aluminum. The different length bolts wouldn't be needed as well, seems like the longer ones for the rear mounting where too long. I had to shorten them to get them tight. No biggy for a mechanic but for someone doing it for the first time could be problem. Just use a couple extra washers if no tap and die available to you. Hope this is helpful to others, and happy riding. |
Save me so much time and money! Wish I had thought of it... |
