I you want to be seen these are great lights

These lights provide much improved flood lighting for the rider at night and excellent lighting for oncoming traffic to see you in daylight. Electrical connections could be better quality, however I sealed each with heat shrink tape and installed all wiring inside 1/4” wire loom for additional protection. The double stick tape for the on off switch is cheap. One of the LED lamps was defective out of the box. I called Rivco and they wanted to test the defective lamp at their facility before sending a replacement. That idea sucks! I wanted a replacement lamp sent out and would gladly return the defect with their return label. I called Wingstuff and spoke to Mark. He called me back an hour later and said Rivco told him they would send a replacement as soon as I cut the cable off the lamp to show it was destroyed and email a photo. Thanks Mark!! Install takes about an hour. I would recommend that you test each lamp prior to installation and complete the mechanical adjustments, including installing the cowl covers before making final electrical connections. The replacement lamp sent out had the attaching bracket between the heat sink and lamp body installed backwards, causing the lamp to stick out 3/8” outside the cover. Once I turned it around it fit perfectly inside the cover. The lens covers are thin, so we’ll see how well they hold up.

Bright Lights!!

Install is straight forward, easy adjustment and wow these lights are bright, very pleased with increased visibility. Having no factory on off switch was for me an easy tradeoff for not having to disassemble all the body work.

Excellent lights, easy install.

This kit is a winner, plenty of lumens and easy install vs. the Honda kit. Much brighter too.
The only downside is if you stick the switch intead of mounting it, the two sided tape comes loose. I love them!

Rivco Driving lights

I will admit, I am a Rivco Product fan. Some may call me a Rivco groupie. But like every great musical group, clinkers are produced every now and then.

I am not a fan of these lights. The engineering and quality hardware-wise are all Rivco EXCELLENCE! But the light they produce are sucked into a dark hole at 15 to 20 feet from my perspective in the driver seat.

LED lights are notorious for being extremely bright, but that light diffuses after just a short distance.

Oncoming traffic will see the LED lights, but that same light does me little good for seeing. As a motorcyclist we want see as well as be seen, so these get us part way there.

The installation of these lights are pretty straight forward and not difficult. The lights when turned on operate all the time. That is during high and low beam, and (this kind of sucks) when bike ignition is in accessory mode. So be aware in the summer time when sitting there listening to your radio with your engine off waiting for construction your driver lights maybe on, draining your battery.

LED lights that do work really well go through a magnification projector lens, unfortunately these LED light do not, and that is why I only give this product 2 stars. For this price I do expect....more light further for me to see.

Ride Safe!
