PRICE IS OUT OF SIGHT!!!

The plug and socket is made by Pollak and can be bought or ordered from most auto / truck supply stores for about $10 or $12 for the set. Pollak #s female/plug: 11-501 male/socket: 11-502. Don't forget a bracket if one wishes to be hidden like a vertical receiver hitch.

For a GL 1800 it works perfectly for trailers without brakes. It is small, 5 wire and easily used with the plug and play trailer isolators.

Looks amazing and works the same

I installed this in 2005 and put 105,000 miles so far. This trailer wiring harness has worked like charm and looks very sharp. Yes, it is small and a little hard to get it together but that is the point... small, sharp and it works great.

After putting this on my new 12 it really looks nice on the hitch, it makes it look like a completed factory job. After reading some of the negative input on these, I took extra precaution when installing the wires and used shrink tube and tape to make sure wire stayed connected. We will see if it holds up this coming season.

UPDATE AFTER TWO YEARS: I would give this product a 0 star if possible. Of all the $4-5000 worth of aftermarket products, this was the worst one. It is not really hard to install, but where the wires go into the set screws are so tiny, it is hard to deal with, but i got it. After making 6-7 trips in the two year span and having to put it back together twice due to wires coming out and corrosion, I threw it away and installed a regular flat wire plug. Don't waste your time or money.

This is the worst product on the market I spent 3 days trying to get this to work on my goldwing because it looks pretty the wiring is fiddly some of the pins set at wrong angle so wires touch and once that is sorted found out that if I touched any part of the hitch with an electrical tester the whole thing was live due to insufficient clearance between the pins/wires and metal housing it is an expensive piece of rubbish
