I have had this LED rear mudflap installed for several years now and it still looks as good as it did when I installed it. The LED's sure do help to accent the back of the bike and the mudflap is a must to keep road debris off of my cooler rack or trailer. Be sure to order the correct mounting hardware kit that will fit your hitch assembly.

I agree the mudflap seems a little pricey, but it's a beauty! (Never thought I'd say that about a mudflap!) Install was a little tricky - make sure the piece is centered before you crank down the screws. It's a beautiful piece. Also the directions weren't quite as clear to me due to the layering of parts behind the rear panel. We figured out the layering pretty quickly. We installed K. vertical rear run-brake strips, K. license plate trim with run-brake accent light, and K. rear fender tip LED run/brake light at the same time (see reviews). All these installs are a great way to learn about the bike! I love the additional light this gives to the back of my bike. When the rains return, I'll have a better idea of how effective the mudflap part is :)

A little pricy but Help Keeps the dirt off the trailer and adds more lights to the back of the bike. This is a good thing. Beeeee seen so you don't get run over .

I have had this for less than a month and I do like the width of this mudflap. I hesitated purchasing sooner because I thought it is overpriced, especially since you need to purchase an application specific mounting bracket also. A fellow rider following me did mention that the running lights are not the same brilliance left and right, although the brake lights are good. Since these are tertiary lights I will not pursue a replacement unless the brake lights start to fail. An earlier reviewer mentioned that the mudflap appears to be in-line with the center panel fender, yes the mudflap mounts just in front of your Kuryakyn hitch mount (not the hitch ball assembly), between the rear tire and the fender, which I feel will block debris better then if it were flush mounted back by the center panel fender between the saddlebags. I was told to be careful going over speed bumps two up, you may bottom out on the mudflap. Although I thought this was pricey, I am glad I purchased this product instead of jury-rigging something else.
