FroggToggs Road Toad pants leak

I bought 2 pairs of these Road Toad pants for me and a pal and the first time we used them in the rain they both leaked and we got wet to our skin!!

I reported this to Frogg Toggs and they said -
"Unfortunately, due to the fact that are products are breathable, prolonged pressure from sitting can cause the fabric to expand. When sitting in water, this expansion may lead to some leaking. This is one of the downfalls of having breathable material."

I think they want us to ride standing up on the foot pegs when it rains!!!
How are these pants any use for motorcycle use when they leak if you sit ??!!
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Very Comfortable

I wear these almost every day for riding. I'm a big guy and have trouble finding comfortable clothes to ride in. The size is more than big enough for my ample frame. These "breath" so they are not hot, even on those warm days of summer. I use them as wind pants in the summer so I can wear shorts under them for a quick change. In the cooler temps they work great to keep out the cold air from those fall/spring days of riding.

They also work great as rain pants.... ;-)
