The Neotec’s flip up design offers the convenience and versatility of a full-face helmet that converts instantly into an open-face configuration. Utilizing an enlarged lock release button to facilitate easy handling with gloves on, the Neotec’s lightweight chin bar and face shield rotate with smooth precision on a single axis point, yielding the seamless versatility of a true two-in-one design.

SHOEI’s proven “360° Pivot Locking System” is road tested and made of high quality stainless steel components to ensure a safe and secure closure when the Neotec’s chin bar is in the down, locked position.

The Neotec’s built-in QSV-1 sun shield gives riders instant relief from sun glare in one quick motion. A large, easily located switch activates the 3D injection-molded inner shield, and the distortion-free, anti-fog, scratch-resistant view blocks 99% of the sun’s damaging UV rays just like the CNS-1 external shield that lies ahead. Unique to the Neotec, the forehead area of the outer shell is raised slightly to accommodate the internal sun shield, allowing for the integrity of the helmet’s inner EPS liner to remain intact.

Utilizing SHOEI’s wind tunnels to help reveal the optimal balance between airflow and silence, SHOEI engineers equipped the all-new Neotec with a large lower vent shutter for ease of use with riding gloves, a strategically-placed, three position upper vent for optimal air intake, uniquely-positioned upper exhaust outlet vents to take better advantage of negative pressure suction, and a dual-layer EPS liner with cooling air channels... All yielding dramatically-improved cool-air intake and hot-air expulsion.

The Neotec is equipped with a fully removable, washable, and replaceable interior system. The 3D center pad components are three-dimensionally shaped to match the contours of a rider’s head, allowing for an extremely comfortable fit while maintaining the firm hold necessary for distraction-free, high-speed riding. The Neotec’s multi-layer cheek pads are available in different thicknesses for a customizable fit.

Shoei Neotec Helmet

I purchased this helmet and had Wing Stuff install an Integrated Headset for Arai Classis/c. This has been a great combination for me. I find the helmet is quieter when the visor is up. This helmet is fit for eye glasses. Having a modular helmet is convenient for conversations with others Because of prescription sunglasses I have not used the integrated sunshield. With the light weight of the helmet I have not noticed strain on the neck muscles even when travelling more than twelve hours a day.
The headset gives quality sound when listening to music or conversations on the CB.
When the need arises I will order another.

Outstanding Helmet

I purchased a 2XL, this past January. I have been wearing it since April. Fit and finish is excellent. I find it very quiet also. I really like the intergrated drop down sun shade. I purchased my helmet from a competitor at a much better price than what's indicated here. I paid less than $500. as I phoned in my order versus purchasing it online.

Shoei Neotec White Modular Helmet

I just received mine last night via UPS and have been wearing it around the house due to winter conditions breaking it in LOL. So far this helmet is very much to my liking. I've got the Shoei RF800, the RF1000, and now this one and it so far is the most comfortable helmet I've ever put on. I like the snug feeling, the sun visor and ease of operation. Also I haven't torn my new helmet apart just to do it, but the inside is fully removable for cleaning. Once I get out and ride, I'll update with comfort and wind noise comments, but for now I give it a five out of the box. Once fully broke in and tested it's back to Wingstuff for an intergrated headset install.
