Looks Great

Just bought the fender and it looks great. A great addition to the bike. No problems so far and easy to install.

Chrome Front Fender Extender

I bought one of these 8 years ago to replace the old chrome & black front fender extender which had faded so bad as most of the chrome had worn away over the years riding by the privies owner. In those 8 years I have never had any problems with crack or other damage which other owner have stated here as it still looks great to this day as it did the first day I put it on my bike...

Broken Fender

THIS FENDER EXTENDER WILL ABSOLUTELY CRACK AND BREAK YOUR FENDER. I put it on and within about 3 long day rides the fender was completely broken and the Fender Extender was about ready to fall off. I don't think that it is the wind that causes this I think that it is some of the pot holes, cattle guards, and just general rough rodes that I encountered. It causes a tremendous amount of vibration at the screw conections and then they crack out. I even bonded the Fender Extender to the stock fender and it still broke. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. FYI, a new back half of the front fender is $227.00. I should have taken the addvise of the other review in this list.

Something to consider

While the product is sound there's a growing concern that Fender extensions are the number one cause of Aft Fender cracking. Cracks are being reported at the upper mount bolts. In review of bikes with out fender extensions no cracks are noted where those with are cracked. Adding the extension actually puts the aft fender subject to increased air which in turn the turbulence associated may be the cause of increased stress on the mounting points..... Something to consider as the Aft Fender from Honda is fast approaching $300 bucks.

Just Pretty

Fitted perfectly and looks a treat. Be aware that you have to remove the front fender to drill the whole for the centre bolt (mine had the 2 outer holes already), if you try to take a shortcut here you might just need a new tyre; the fender is very close to the tyre!
