Trailer Wire Harness Converter

Update: connected to trailer directional signals can be distinguished.W/45-1819 isolater.

I have gone through 3 of these and finally got one that worked or so I thought. It worked for a couple of weeks and now I don't have turn or stop lights on the bike had to remove this in order for the lights to work again. I don't know were I am going to get another trailer wire harness converter I know I will not buy another one of these.

Bought this with (45-1806) vertical, and (45-1819) isolated. Installed it all but the turn signals cause the trailer lights to blink together (left turn, both lights right turn, both lights). Brake lights and running lights are ok.

I used this in conjunction with the trailer wiring harness. Soldered all the connections then pluged in the harness. It worked great. Now to finish building the trailer.

Easy install, just read the directions, and the wires are marked for what goes where. Works with ABS breaks. 2008 level 3 with Motortrike IRS kit. Mounted box under seat.

Wired this up to the ADD ON Isolated Trailer Wire Harness Item # 45-1819 on my 2010 Goldwing and it worked great. Had to go thru (3) of the 45-1819 units until I final got one that worked correcly. Wingstuff was great about swapping out these defective units.

Made the job of wiring up a trailer and motorcycle very easy.

Quick and easy install. I used this inline with the "GL1800 Trailer Wire Harness (part #BB52694) to convert from 5 wire to 4 wire. There is plenty of room to mount both of these on the little shelf behind the rear wheel fender.

Cut the wires down on this and the isolating relay block to create a compact complete wiring harness. Soldered them together and heat shrink tubed the wires and wrapped them in harness wrap. Looks professional and works great.

Easy install, plunty of wire on plug end-5feet! Wish I would have been told that I needed it at the time I ordered the hitch and harness. Had to wait a week to recieve and finish install.
