I added this to my 2012 and it really adds a pop to the whole wheel. This two-sided kit is an easy install. Be sure to select the right color for you. I have the multicolor model that combines blue and amber. It's easy to add custom colors or even multicolor Custom LED strips too.
We absolutely love the look that the amber, red, blue ring of fire made to our 2013 wing. We bought it as a kit with the chrome rotor cover. The right side installed without a hitch. We also installed the aero led marker lights at the same time to reduce the amount of re-do work in removing the fender and caliper covers. We had some difficulty installing the left side so I used my dremel tool to increase the top screw hole opening thinking that would solve the problem. After getting the screw holes to line up, we realized the fender would not sit flush to the fork so my wife contacted Kuryakyn to see what we should try. Kuryakyn said call wingstuff to get a replacement rotor cover, marker light since we had already attached it, ring of fire, and a bracket. Dave at wingstuff was very helpful and sent all of that to us. The first thing I tried was replacing the bracket hoping to use the existing assembly that I had already put together and lucky for me, it worked. I still rated these as a 5 because I am so happy with the look and what was almost a simple install. The biggest tip I can give: after you have installed the bracket (for either side), check the alignment of the front top and bottom screw holes with the rotor cover since those holes are at a fixed distance and the rear screw hole will have some flexibility due to the 3 tiny screws on the rear lower rotor covers being adjustable. The instructions were not clear on whether to install the ring of fire before or after mounting the rotor covers but I gambled and installed the ring of fire before installing the rotor covers and think I won since we got a replacement bracket that worked out well. But I installed the Aero marker lights after installing the rotor cover w ring of fire but before reinstalling the fender and caliper covers.
And we can't wait to show you how it's done!
