Very easy install. Pipes look awesome and sound like a sports car instead of a motorcycle. Very deep powerful sound but not loud. The drone at highway speeds does get annoying on long rides. But I installed the free silencers that came with the pipes and at idle and when accelerating from a stop they sound almost the same as without the silencers in. But at highway speeds they are almost as quiet as stock. There is still a slight hum or drone but its not enough to bother me or my wife. The wind noise is louder then the drone. If you ride cross country you will probably want to order the silencers if Wingstuff isn't offering them free with the pipes when you order yours.

simple install, sound very good, not loud but definite attitude, had the bike inspected last week, the service mgr called me over and asked where and what kind of pipes they are as the Dealership owner whats a set for his wing, said its the best sounding wing he has ever heard, NEED I SAY MORE, Me thinks the same. Long rides no problem.

I was shipped a dented pipe and was directed to settle with the manufacture to resolve the issue. Jim the owner is difficult to contact but he did send me a replacement pipe. The hassle was waiting weeks to resolve this. The pipes sound better then the stock pipes BUT the FREE Baffles do not fit in the exhaust. They should just easily slide in and out. If I force them in you probably won't get them out.

Snakes were an easy install, only took about an hour. Sounds great, however, I can't hear the external stereo speakers very well over the drone of the pipes. Wife doesn't like listening to the music through the headset, may have to install baffles on long trips. Love the sound and extra power.

I have been looking at these torqmaster pipes for a while and finally bought them for my GL1800 Gold Wing along with the optional baffles included. I must say these really sound nice and noticed an impressive increase in power and throttle response. The difference is noticed when rolling on the power at an extremely low rpm, the motor no longer takes time to respond, it pulls strong and smooth with no lag. I also noticed a slight increase in fuel mileage which was not expected The stock GL1800 exhaust is just too restrictive, what I learned is the motor came alive and performed better than ever after I removed the restrictive stock mufflers. I would recommend getting the optional baffles so you can make it real quiet and still have the performance gain whenever you wish. I tried them with and without and prefer the sound with them out, if I leave on a long trip for a few days as we often do, I would insert them so it's nice and quiet for my wife back there. I must mention with the optional baffles it performs almost the same as without them which is great. Highly Recommend! John

I have had my King Snakes since the begining of this riding season. Instalation was very easy took about an hour. I can tell you the pipes sound great and get louder as your trips get longer. I love them so don't wait you'll love them to. Jimmy at Torqmaster is great and will help in any way if you need it.

Installed today, simple straight forward took about an hour, sound is as indicated by other reviewers and I am very pleased, it now sounds like a hopped up porsche 911, a very sweet note. Lets remember we are driving a high performance 6 cylinder bike not a RUMBLING VTWIN, so don't expect to EVER get that sound, like anyone of us would want it after A WING!!

Installation was pretty easy and pipes look very nice. I agree with the other reviews that the pipes aren't as loud as expected but they do have a deeper rumble than stock. I haven't taken any long trips yet so I can't speak as to any improved mpg. Overall, I'd say the pipes were a good investment.

Installation was easy,fit was good, the sound is nice, not to loud but a nice rumble, the best part was the 2-4 mpg improvement depending on how you drive it, cracking the throttle and downshifting to hear the rumble kills mileage but a highway run being easy on the gas it will get 50mpg, Jim, Green Bay, Wi.

Received my King Snake mufflers promptly after ordering. The chrome is superior and includes the entire exterior surface-unlike the Honda stock exhaust which is only chromed where the pipes are visible when installed. The instructions were fine and installation took less than an hour total. But best of all-the sound is great. Not as radical as some Harleys but a nice low rumble. I purchased the additional baffles (yes they should be included) but I have not used them. I probably won't except for long trips. Thanks again Wingstuff for having high quality Goldwing accessories.

I installed these about a year ago, on my 07 the install was easy. I noticed more power and a better sound. I wish they were alittle louder that is why the 4 rating. Good quality.

Very disapointed. On a scale of 1 to 100 with 100 being the loudest, most obnoxius and 1 being stock Goldwing pipes, these are about a 5. They are louder, but not enough to make any difference. I was hoping for at least a 25. On the up side I can always say I have non-stock pipes. Woopee.

i have been running these pipes for a couple months now. At first i did not notice a differance other than the sound, but I think that the first couple rides the ecu had to catch up. Now there seems to be a nice improvement in power. these pipes have a very nice tone and are considerably noisyer. For long trips i might like to try the baffles. Install was very easy. No

I have had these pipes for about 6 months and I love them. They were easy to install and they look great. The sound is a nice growl without being obnoxious. And Jimmy, who makes the pipes, is a real gentleman. Be sure to give him a call at TorqMaster if you have any questions.

No problems with install. Went very smoothly and finished in a hour. Great fit and no issues, The sound and looks are awsome. Almost feels like riding a brand new different wing. Highly recommend and got free baffles, Likely will never use them. People actually hear and see you coming.

Had to give four stars due to the fact that the fit isn't great. The chrome is beautiful and the sound is awesome. I will fool around with the hardware to gain better alignment.

Installed my new "SNAKES" as soon as they arrived. Installation went fairly smooth except had trouble with "visual alignment",even with the 2 washers on the backsides.Didnt receive the "new bolts" with the parts pkg.,so used the old ones.Probably something else out of alignment further up. Like the sound,though.Looks great on the bike. Can't wait to install the LOOP-Zs when I order them.
