I was very happy with the simple design and they are very strong and can hold some weight too. This is the only way to go if your planning on having rear a passenger. Mounts to the side grab handle and it is secure. You can not say that for the trunk mounted armrest. These do swing out nicely and you do not need to move them when you open your trunk. I am going to modify it and find a drink holder that I can mount to it.

Disappointing quality. Pivot hinge bolts are a "rattling good fit"; 6mm bolts thru 7mm bosses. NO Customer support !

Great add on for the Queen...she really likes them.Only one fault; the bolts supplied to mount them into the grab handle holes are not plated nor stainless...I noticed rust after first washing after installing them. Other than that, they are great for pivoting out of the way to raise the trunk.

Wife absolutely loves these. They are sturdy enough that she can rest her arms on them (none are made for heavy pressure). I havent had any problem with the nylon washers wearing out yet like some. I have had mine on for over 8 months now.

Installed with the passenger grab handle bolts.Adds a little crome to the seat side, and my wife loves them.

We got a set of these when we bought the bike new in '06. Wanted them to make the ride more comfortable for my wife. She rates them a four stars 'cause she wanted the pad as big as her chair at home. I rated as 5 stars because they are sturdy and a fairly simple install. As one of the other raters noted threading the bolts into the seat is a little tricky but do-able. His suggestion of getting longer bolts and filing off the end of the threads makes sense.

arm design places the arm rest pads too far forward, which makes the appearance unattractive without a high front seat back. Strong mount design using seat bolts to frame.

OK. if you have a CB TX Volume control for passenger These will not work. I had to remove that control in order for them to work. And that is what I did. To begin with they never came with any instructions and two washers were missing which I had to go buy myself. The finish on the arest them selfs were stained up. As for the install the problem was lining up the bolts in the seats without cross threading them. I ended up buying quarter inch longer bolts and grinding down the threads as to act as a guide. This worked fine. My wife says they are very solid and that they are the right hieght. We like the armrest so we sacificed a control to keep them. I gave them 3 stars because of the lack of parts and instructions.

I think it's the Strongest on the market. The pads are little small. But my honey is happy that's all that matters.

I WAS NOT SURE WHICH ONES I WANTED TO BUY AND AFTER SEVERAL FRIENDS BOUGHT SOME OF THE ONES THAT MOUNT TO THE TRUNK AND HAD PROBLEMS WITH BREAKAGE FROM THE PASSENGERS LEANING ON THEM AND CAUSING DAMAGE... SO I REALLY RECOMEND THESE BECAUSE THEY MOUNT VERY SOLID UP TO THE SEAT BOLTS AND THEY SURE LOOK GOOD TOO!

Again, my son finds the armrest very comfortable. I have tied the armrest togeother for when he falls asleep, at times, on long night rides. And that makes me more comfortable knowing he is seating securely.Another great product.

Got a pair, could not put them on because the OEM passanger controller for the intercom/radio volume and CB was in the way. Arm rests are a little short, also.
