Very Nice. Easy install, Took about 2 hours. Only 4 stars cause the bolts were really cheap. Broke 1 with very litte effort. I still feel it is a good product, I like the look and would buy it again.

Have had these since bike was delivered 04/09, polish keeps chrome looking new. The arms have needed to be tightened/adjusted numerous times. Do remember to swing out both arms when opening trunk.

I have had them on for less than a year and like some of the others have stated, rust has broken through. Also every time you need to open the trunk the arms has to be moved to the outside position. The wife said that the arm rest are comfortable and has no problem with them.

I have this on my ride. The missus loves the cup holder, and I like that she's comfortable back there. After all..if she's not havin' a good time..the ride is over.

I purchased a set of these about four years ago, they work well no problems, aside from the fact that they are way over priced as with all Kuryakyn products

Again. Had these installed on the 1800 at time of purchase and paid way too much but was pressed for time. Wife loved them on the trip. However the left one has got out of adjustment and swings way out and way in. Was gonna get it fixed but the wife said the fact that it swings in closer to her lets her rest more of her arm on it. May fix the right one to do the same. Look great and good quality.

We are not very happy with these armrests. Two problems - one may not be solvable but the other is...
It's just a pain in the you-know-where to have to remember to rotate these rests out of the way every time you want to raise the trunk lid. I knew this going in and thought I could deal with it but it's still an irritation every time.
My wife complains about the padding on the rests - she has seen other co-riders rests that are quite plush, as in thick and soft padding. These pads are thin and hard. I asked Kury if there was an alternative upholstery that could be retrofitted - they looked at me like I had two heads, (I spoke to them directly at Daytona Bikeweek.

Wife likes them especially the kool cut holder. This is a must have on a long ride.

These are by far the best looking arm rest when new. The chrome is poor quality and rusts rapidly. They are also extremely fragile. The brakets tend to break easily, and Kuryakyn apparently does not sell the braket alone. They quoted me 119.95 plus shipping for the full side install. I am removing them and replacing with another brand.

We've had these for two years now, they are very comfortable for the back seater, and look great. The instal is a bit tricky, but if you're careful, it goes well. There are good reinforcement bars inside the trunk and side storage compartments. They must be swung outward to open the trunk, which is only a minor inconvenience.

Purchased these a year ago. Held up to some pretty heavy use, however, cotter pin sheared off. It has pretty easy to replace. Underside of armrest rust pretty fast. However, still gave 4 star because of its performance, extreme confort for passenger, and look great on my Goldwing GL-1800 Pearl White. Would think of changing it out for anything else. Definately a Keeper.

Just another note regarding the armrests. I've read some of the reviews and have a tip regarding the drink-holder. Take the cool-cover cut it to the thinkness of the chrome ring and secure it to the inside of the ring with double faced (3M) tape and it will hold 20oz bottles securely. Thanks Wingstuff.

If your riding with a partner these are a must. They were the first addition we made. High quality chrome and workmanship you would expect from Kuryakyn. You do have to swing them out to open the trunk-just a minor inconvenience.

These arm rests really look nice after the installation is complete. If you install these, make sure to have an extra pair of hands and follow the instructions, they are very well detailed!

You DO have to swing these out of the way to open the trunk, but this has really not been a problem for us. My wife LOVES the arm rests, especially the drink holder function. A typical foam can cooler will slip into the holder and then you can put in your favorite beverage or even a bottle of water. With these and the normally comfortable seat on the wing, my wife sometimes almost dozes off in the back there.

As others have said once it is all said and done they look nice and my wife likes them.
None of the brackets were bent to the proper shape. Rather than "pull" the side pocket brackets into shape with the bolts I bent them until they fit flush on the sides and back then installed them. The left side brace for the trunk was basically flat with a few bends in it and took quite a bit of study before completing the job of bending it to the correct shape.
And I didn't like the idea of the mike cord stuffed in between the seat and the pocket as that is just cheesy and lame. I wish I had read the review from the other guy before installing mine as I put the holder vertical just under the arm rest support and hindsight is 20/20 and horizontal would have looked better.
One stud was broken but that didn't stop me from installing it.
On the left side mount I used the bushings to prevent crushing the plastic so a 8.5mm drill or a "Q" drill is required to get the proper fit. If you have the CB you don't have to worry about it as the holes are all ready there.
