Very bright and nice blue/white light!
4 stars for the crappy mounting system, although it seems to hold after a year.
4 stars as well for teh short life of the bulbs.
Good instructions and nice OEM switch.

I chose the brightest lights with the OEM switch. I'll agree the install method with the spring setup is kinda cheesy but I guess it will work. The factory switch looks great.
Now... I am going to mention something no one else has commented on..... These lights are bright white (blue-ish lens) and made my stock halogen lights look very yellow and dim! These cowl lights are not blindingly bright, but the COLOR of the light is what does it. After seeing how well I could see after dark with this "color of light" my stock bulbs would no longer work for me. I researched the other "xenon" bulbs found here and across the internet. I bought Sylvania Ultra Whites at the auto supply only to find out they were not much better than stock. I took them back and opted for a true digital HID conversion. Expensive ($325 for all 4 bulbs & ballasts) but the light output is absolutely incredible.
These cowl lights do a very nice job and look great, but do not expect any miracles. If you are looking to light up the ENTIRE road and the shoulders too, go with an HID conversion. It's an easy install too.

The brightest lights out there...but the mounting system where you burn holes in the cowl and attach the lights with springs is kinda cheesy. The bulbs seem to burn out about once a year too. Keep a spare or two on hand.

I just finished installing the Super White Set w/OEM switch. The job took about 90 minutes and was straight forward.
The tool provided for melting the holes to attach the mounting springs worked okay, but it's already in the garbage. Be careful not to push it very hard against the gussets because the tool will break appart.
I applied the 7-mil light guards last night, giving them 12 hours to dry out. Didn't want the protective film to move around during the installation.
WOW!!! These lights are extremely bright!

Once installed these look very nice, but it is a big project to complete.
I had to wait over a month for delivery!! Ask about leadtime before you order.
The install was far more difficult that it should have been. Rather than utilizing the factory installed fog-light wiring and relay system, this kit requires stringing the provided (redundant) harness/relay system. Rather than use the factory light mounts, this system attaches to the cowl by making some delicate adaptations, then uses a complex frame/spring system to hold it all together.
With a compatible mount and connector system this setup would have been a fast and simple install.

Had these just over a year and installed at dealer. The Superwhite's are great lights, very bright, and the spring mount system keeps them aligned. I run them a lot and have had no problems at all. But do get the OEM switch if possible. Nicer than the little green pushbutton EC type.

Great lights and not bad to install but take your time. The tool that they send with the set to put holes in cowl for the springs is not a good idea. Use a small bit on your dremel for this step. Also, the positive wire to the battery is a little short. You will need to move the relay up closer to connect it properly. I got the bright white lights and they are very bright. I also got the factory like switch and it works and fits perfect.

These lights are terrific. Will definately light your way on unlit roads and highways. The EC switch for the airbag model functions but that's about it. Can't see why they can't make one like the OEM to fit. Only 4 due to the switch.

Had these on for one season, both glass lenses cracked and one completely shattered, the bulbs still work. Called, emailed, after sending me the wrong parts charging $21.70 ($7.80 shipping), they want me to pay for return shipping. Why?, you cannot buy just the lenses, as the ads suggest to, you must buy the whole unit, at about $100.00/pr sent. I am taking this trash off and buying something that is really replaceable if needed.

The Super White are incredible.
First I want to compliment EC for a great set ofd instructions. The instructions, drawings and photographs were incredibly accurate. The instructions made it easy to install.
I took my Wing out for a ride tonight and any time a car started to pull out in fornt of me a quick punch of the button and it stopped the invaders in their tracks.
These lights fill in all the dark area between the front of my bike and ther low beams which I have aimed a bit further out. There are no surprises in the dark now.
These are easily one of the top two or three MUST HAVES for a Wing.

Can foglamps be too bright? These are visibly brighter than my headlamps whereas my friend's 35w foglamps are pretty much a match. These are so bright I hesitate to use them for fear of blinding oncoming traffic (when I turn them on at night, signs a mile down the road light up). These mount to the cowling with springs attached through holes melted in tabs on the cowling. I'm not sure why they chose this mounting method when there is a stronger mount location on the bike behind the cowling. My buddy's bike has the Show Chrome set mounted to the built-in location with adjustment screws for elevation (which mine do not have); intallation was much easier and more secure. These are fine lights, but I recommend the Show Chrome BB52704 over these.

BRIGHT as can be! Look great, work well. I got top line - figured installation would be a job, may as well get the best, still less than OEM, and glad I did. Only issue with install was the spring connection without cotter pins was a real B&*%#. I cheated an dbought more cotter pins, used 'em on all 4 brackets...so far (3 months, 4K miles), they work fine that way.
Use thinnest coat hanger wire to pull wiring through.

This is a great product. Easy install and adjustment wasn't too bad. Gives good lighting in between the bike and headlights and to the sides. Makes the bike more visible in the daylight as well. Installed the EC light protectors and it gives a good look to the bike. Would definitely purchase again.

Incredibly bright! They make the bikes headlights look dim and yellow in comparison. I got the super whites and was suprised that the lenses had a slight blue tint. But when lit up, WOW -- it's like laser beams.
Instructions were pretty detailed. The only issues I had with them was that the pictures weren't really labeled the way they were referred to in the intructions and were taken way back like in 2000 so newer 'wings may look a little different. It took me a little longer to install because I stopped to add a 12V outlet in the left fairing box. I'd say 4 hours over all. If I had to do it again, I think I could do it in under 2. Take yer time, though. Get the model with the OEM switch; looks just like the emergency flasher button. The other switch requires you to drill a larger hole.
Notes: My kit only came with 2 of the cotter pins (4 req'd). Kit comes with a cheap (one use?) soldering iron with the tip bent so it can be used to melt the holes into the plastic cowel for the mounting springs. And the "included" lens protectors are very thin (paper) clear plastic decals that you laminate right onto the lens glass. Dunno how their supposed to work. I guess it keeps the cracked glass in one piece.
