The on off switch is cheap but can be easly replaced if need be. As far as the lights and wiring kit I don't see how the $300 light kit could be any better than these. For what these lights do and the price I would recomend them to anyone..

Read all the other reviews too. They are true. You do get what you pay for.
Still, I finally got them to work. I use a switch mounted on the brake master cylinder (a 3-switch pod sold here) which is a much better option than the switch included.
Instructions were written by someone in Thailand or Nepal.

What a load of Junk!! As the previous reviewer said after mounting the lights they dont align with the cutouts. The person who wrote these instructions flunked out in English class. The on - off switch is cheesy. Unless you are broke buy something else, it has to be better than this. Shame on you ADD-ON PRODUCTS. This review does not reflect at all on Wingstuff.com They are great people to deal with. Just save up some more money and buy some quality stuff

I agree with the previous reviewer that these are not plug and play. It was necessary to cut the wings away from the brackets and re-drill the hole for the mounting screw 1/2" lower to raise the lights 1/2". The plastic sleeves that goes on the mounting screws need to be replaced by metal ones from Ace Hardware - the plastic cracks. I used the switch included with the set, seems ok. On turning on the lights first time one blew, but Wingstuff ordered me a new bulb which I got a week later. Replacements cost only $10 each. Still I spent a good few hours intsalling them. I rate it a 4 on the basis of you get what you pay for, and when all's said and done they work and look great, at a price you can't beat with a stick!

These lights are great for the money. My low rating is due to a couple of factors:
1.) Installation diagrams! They leave a lot to be desired. You need the set on the box, and the page in the box in order to figure out how to hook things up. It's definitely not plug and play. And the directions are laughable, because they weren't written by someone for whom English is a first language.
2. Fit. The lights don't quite line up with the cowl knock-outs.
3. The switch. The one included looks kind of cheesy, so I bought a Honda switch and wired it in. By the time you figure in the cost of the switch, and the time figuring out how to wire it in, you might be better going with another set-up.
On the good side, the lights are bright! I bought them primarily for daytime visibility, but they do light up the road nicely at night.
Keep in mind that this is not a plug and play set-up!
