GREAT BUY for the money. It is fairly easy to install once you get the plastic liner away from the inside of the trunk lid. Looks good on the bike and should give many years of service. Take your time and it might be a little easier with an extra set of hands to help you.

This is a nice rack. Just got mine installed, along with a color matched spoiler and it looks great! Quality appears to be good and unlike some others there was no sign of rust in sight. Take your time during the installation and get it lined up properly because once you take a drill bit to the trunk you are pretty much committed! I like the looks of this rack compared to the flat ones... just a personal preference. Very happy with this item.

This reasonably priced luggage rack is an asset to the top of your trunk. The rack is very simple to install, just take time to be sure it is lined up exactly where you want it. This luggage rack coupled with a color matched LED lighted spoiler makes for a sharp rear appearance. A quality item.

I noticed rust when I opened the bag receiving it. I have not installed it and probably won't either.

Not to hard to install. Had to get pass the fear of the first drilling of the hole. Looks good but it has been 8 months since installation and I have noticed that there is rust formation in the welded joints.

Great product it was easy to put on (about 1 hour) its just one more thing i can check off my list...a must have.Looks like it come from the factory on the bike..

Take your time installing this and you will not be dissapointed. Took me about an 1 hr to install. This rack fits and looks great. As others have mentioned, it provides room underneath to wash and wax your trunk, a big plus!! I am very pleased with the quaility and price of this product. (Just needs the microwave mounting attachment and we are really cooking).

This is a very sturdy rack and it looks good. With the new version I do not see the need to purchase the riser kit. Plenty of room to reach underneath and clean the trunk lid. Only down side to this product is that the manufacturer definitely has a problem getting the four mounting leg angles correct. Two of the four mounting leg angles were off. To properly fix this problem I had to mark and grind all 4 legs for correct height and angle (can't just grind the two legs that incorrect). I purchased the star washers and they are a nice addition. I purchased my rubber washers at Lowes. A good rack for the money, but the manufacturer needs to get there act together with quality control.

I purchased this luggage rack about two weeks ago. The shipping was free and it arrived in only 6 days. Installation instructions were perfect and I was very happy the rack stood high enough above my trunk and spoiler to allow for cleaning. I have not used it yet but will the second week of Oct. I can tell it is going to come in handy to carry my tent/bed roll and sleeping bag without going over the 10 pound limit. Sure will save on much needed trunk and saddle bag space. I would recommend this product over the flat rack any time, if you are trying to save a few $$.

Installed in one hour. I love this rack! Sits high so I can wax my bike easily, yet it carries a low enough profile to look cool from any angle (NOTE: I do have a spoiler though). Make sure you position it on your deck so you can get your hands in to all areas when waxing. Visualize the finished product several times and practice before drilling and you'll be fine. Also, don't over-tighten.

Fits well easy to install however the chrome has started to peel off in one spot after two months use

Took a little longer than normal to process the order. Upon contacting Wingstuff I found out two numbers on the CC were off. Received the luggage rack in about 5 days after we fixed the problem. Luggage rack was extremely easy to install. Measured 5 times and drilled once. Used standard bolts that came with the rack and they fit fine when I took out the inner trunk lid liner. No problems after a month and 500 miles with the rack on.

Not a bad rack for the money, but I have one caution regarding the installation. The mounting contact surfaces do not closely follow the contour of the trunk lid. When I installed mine I apparently tightened the screws a bit too much which eventually caused a hairline crack at one fastener points on the lid surface. I would suggest using blue locktite on the threads and only a snug tension on the screws ... do not over tighten.

Rack looks good on bike, seems to sit high for my taste, but plan to put a spoiler on under it anyway. Once you get over fear of drilling holes, in-stall was pretty simple. Make sure to drill a small hole first, and work your way up. Good value fo the money.

Nice trunk rack. Looks great on the bike. I installed a spoiler first and would suggest others do the same. The installation went well, but it is hard to measure as the legs are not all welded to the rack perfectly sraight, not enough to be noticed when installed though. Thanks to info from other reviewers, I bought longer (6mm x 25mm) bolts which made installation easier and the mounting stronger.

My order was originally placed on 5/3/09 and it took two weeks to get the package in the mail. According to wingstuff the OEM of the rack was the cause for delay. To their credit once they got it from the OEM it was in my hands two days later. Now for the review. First, there are absolutely no instructions with the rack when you receive it. No big deal, but be ***warned***, measure two...three...and even four times before drilling into your wing (would be nice if a template came with the rack). The rack is solid and the chrome does not look cheap at all. ***PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO BUY LONGER HARDWARE BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE INSTALLATION*** I personally opted for 6mm x 25 screws, which provided plenty of length and really go far enough into the rack to provide a solid base. I would have given this 5 stars if not for the delivery delay. By the way...do yourself a favor and also pick up the rack bag. Fits like a glove and look good.

Light weight - my main reason for selecting this rack. It sits a little higher than I would like, even with the spoiler. Cannot beat the price and light weight

Very nice rack for your trunk. Took me about 2 hours. Measured 3 times drilled once. First thing to do is throw away the screws and buy some that are twice as long. It makes it alot EZ to aling the holes. You have more wingle room. Great product. I would buy again. Plus it looks good. Alot of room to clean under.
