Replaced my OEM Dunlop D250's at 15,600 miles. Like the E3's lack of a center groove, which the D250 had (terrible on grooved pavement). Good price, FAST DELIVERY!

Great tires for the Goldwing. I just replaced my tires with almost 15,000 miles on them. Still had a few miles left on them but replaced them when I added the Centramatic Wheel Balancers. Other brand tires just don't hold up and give the mileage as the Elite 3 tires. Highly recommended for anyone with a Wing.

The Dunlop E3 tires are a fine tire. They are of course a hard high milage tire which make them very suitable for the Golfwing. I have owned Metzlers and Avons in the past but they are more suitable to the liteweight sport bike then to the heavy wing. The very heavy weight of the wing will eat them up pretty fast.
I recently had to replace my rear tire because I managed to pick up a screw. I did replace it with the Dunlop E3. Had it computerized spin ballanced, tire preasure at about 41 lbs..... never had any problems wit vibrations, cupping or premature wearing. Great Tires!

20,000+ on my Elite 3s
Factory Tires lasted just over 12,000 miles. Installed the Elite 3s Great ride, Great Milege I now have 32,000 miles and I have ordered a nother set. I have been carefull to keep up with the tire pressure and I am satisfied with 20,000 miles on a set of these tires. Have keeped up with all required maintance, but nothing more.
Ballance and Pressure are the Key to high milage + one set of Elite 3s.

I got over 17,000 miles on my E3's.Had them intalled @ Sunrise Honda in Searcy,Ar.( great store ) when on a trip there. Put in Dyna Beads and Nitrogen. Having to replace rear tire because of a nail. Only 9500 miles on it and it has more than half the tread left. I'll only put on E3's till someone can prove they have something better.

After reading about how this tire is hard to balance and it was causing vibrations etc etc, I was wondering if I should look elsewhere. Then I realized that the WingStuff site would not endorse such a product. Sure enough I bought the E3 Elite Dunlop for the front and had it professionally mounted and balanced by Jason at SMR in Santa Fe. Jason told me that the Dunlops are hard tires and they do require more weight to balance than other brands. My tire went on fine and after getting to highway speed I noticed a smoother ride than with the original tire. There is no vibration at all and the ride is better than it was with the old tire. I could understand if the reviewers changed the tire themselves and did not balance it or used a lower end balancing machine that would cause the bike to vibrate. It sure wasn't the case with mine. They did a great job with mounting and balancing, the tire got shipped at a great price and over all I am 100% pleased with the sales, service and quality of this tire. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep top quality products on their bike.

Bought a 2009 Airbag model on Craiglist with 2995 miles in April 2009. It now has 8,500 on the Dunlops. At the last oil change, the dealer said the tires are needing replacement. The fronts are cupped and the rear is bald in the middle. I will not replace with Dunlops!!!! I thinks I will try the "stones" Any comments?

I put over 17000 miles on the factory Dunlops. I have over 1400 on these now and no complaints. Have not ridden in rain yet but suspect I will. I have scraped the highway pegs a couple of times and with no concern about handling or control.

I've pust just slightly over 1500 miles on those tires. seemed good tires: confident wet roads grip, Good grip in deep curves. Not noising.
I had replaced the front fork with AK20 set along with switching to Elite 3s. I don't know how long they will 'live' that's why my 4 stars mark.

Final review (my third). Loved these tires at first (all new tires feel great)...then was a little disappointed with early cupping of the front tire. Now, with 14,000 mile on them I'd have to say they were pretty OK, but not fantastic. Handling has been OK, mileage not too bad (I got 19,000 out of oem Dunlop 250s) Switching these out for the Avon Cobras. We'll see.....

GL1800 purchased July, 2007. 1st set of Bridgestone tires 0-5k and the bladder was separating from the rear, front was cupped horribly and I had a terrible wobble. Went with Metzler tires 5k-12k miles and front was cupped, rear was just worn out but great handling and feel and still had the horrible wobble. 12k-18k Dunlop Elite 3s (70 series rear), All Balls tapered bearings installed, Traxxion suspension installed and wobble and handling got much worse. Took the motorcycle in at 18k to have adjustments made to the Traxxion setup and new set of Elite 3s (60 series rear) and I’m at 29K, no wobble, minimal frontend cupping and normal rear wear to the rear. I still have miles to go.
I’m at WingStuff now buying the Avons and thought I would update my reviews. I’m going to try the 70 series Avon. I’ll write a review after a few thousand miles in the Avon section.
I always replace my tires in pairs, I’m a moderate to aggressive driver and I do about 60% highway to 40% around town or A1A/beach type driving.
If you are in the Southeast, (Atlanta, GA) lookup at Gary at Gary’s Hobbie Shop. He installed my Traxxion suspension and bearings. My bike had a noticeably worse wobble than other GL1800s. Six visits to Rick Case Honda and they had enough of me and me of them. I appreciate Gary’s commitment to correcting it. One item that made a marked improvement was the torque to the rear swing arm. From the factory it was about 15lbs light. Some more adjusting really cleaned up the bikes handling.
Anyway, good luck and safe riding.

Installed a pair of these last summer, and took on the ALCAN to Dawson Creek, and then Highway 97 through British Columbia to the U. S. Border above Washington State. These tires did well over a couple of hundred miles of construction (hard pack D1 and loose gravel), and on a couple of thousand miles of chip-sealed (hell's sandpaper) roads. Regular old asphalt was a rare site! When I returned home in North Pole, AK (5500 mi rnd trip), I noticed significant cupping on my front tire and that they had worn kinda funny. Both front and rear tires were worn flat in the middle. Looks like a 1/2 band all the around the tire. Never seen any other tires do that, but am told it is normal because of the "state-of-the-art" composition of the tire. Apparently, the middle part of the tire is made up of softer rubber than the outer part of the tire? In short, these tires did what I asked them to do without any problems. They presented me with good handling under less than desirable road conditions, did not hunt when crossing metal grating on bridges, and when the weather got a little snotty with pouring rain and cold, they kept me on the road. They get five stars from me even though Avons will be my next buy. Ride Safe!!!

Just past 20,000 miles on 2006 Wing with 31000 miles. Wobble? No. not if inflated properly. Cupping? Ditto. Grip? Excellent wet or dry. Wear patterns? normal if inflated properly.
Would I buy again? As soon as I can fill out the order form.

I tried these one time and got about 12.5k out of them but they seemed to grab every hole and rut I hit on the road and I never felt very comfortable with them, about the same as the stock tires that came on the bike. They wore fine, I just didn't like the ride or the traction. I don't ride the highways so much as the back roads, these might be fine on nice flat well paved roads, that's not California.

First set of Elite 3's on my 07 GW. At about 15000 miles, front tire cupped off-center with considerable tread left on tire. Two deals say it sometimes happens to GW. Very strange! Is this a tire problem or a bike alignment problem??? Changed both at around 56K and see if it happens again. If it does, I'm going to another tire!

Got 12600 miles out of the stock tires. Now I have put 4,000 miles on the elite 3 tires and they work great on all roads even on gravel. I keep 36 psi in the front and 41 psi in the back tire. If you have a wabble you need to replace the steering stem bearing.

These are great. Got rid of the tire whine that the OEM tires had. put 9500 miles on them so far and they look like they are good for several thousand more. Had to replace the factory tires at 9200 so these are a real value.

Miles of good service! Started showing wear at 12,000 miles which is excellent! From the beginning though I experienced traction issues on wet pavement which spooked me a couple times. Other than that they were great handling tires! I am going to try the New Avon Cobras next and I'll let you know how they compare.
