BE SAFE! Compared to a typical automobile, motorcycle stop lamps are simply too small to attract immediate attention. This is especially true for the cruisers because they are mounted so low to the ground.
tailBlazer overcomes this by rapidly flashing the taillights the instant you apply the brakes. The flash rate then slows down to a steady ON - this cycle lasts about 4 seconds. This flash pattern is called a Deceleration Warning.
Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) suggests that you pump your brakes at each stop. tailBlazer does it automatically, and by flashing both filaments for a maximum brightness. Choose GL1500 or GL1800 by clicking below drop down!

This is a review for the 200GW tailblazer. I wanted a modulator that would only operate the spoiler brake light when braking and not turn it into a running light. After reading another review I decided this was what I wanted. I’m going to break it down into several ratings due to the problems that I experienced. I installed the 200GW on a 2008 Goldwing.
Experience buying from Wingstuff.com
5- Stars
Cost of the item (it’s a size of a quarter) it’s ridiculous how much this thing costs.
1-1/2 Stars
Manufactures tech support
1-Star
Final result of a modulating spoiler (cannot believe the response from cagers behind me)
5- Stars
If you want to modulate your spoiler brake light the instructions that come with the product is worthless except for what each screw terminal does. You will need some extra wire available to wire this in 18Ga stranded should be fine. It will take about 30-40 minutes to install and once done should work great. Unlike some other reviewers my spoiler does NOT stay on when in the accessory position. As an installation note you will be working with the black (ground) and the white wire with a black stripe (input wire). I can’t believe the manufacturer doesn’t make this a plug & play and just give it a different part number. I can’t be the only one that wants this function. Am I happy with the final result YES! So I guess that’s what counts.

Very easy install. I decided to add this for extra safety after getting rear ended when stopping for a red light in my truck. I would hate to get rear ended while on the wing. I installed the spoiler modulator since it's up higher and I felt it would grab attention quicker than the trunk lights. The tail light function has two brightness settings. I felt the default setting was to close to the brightness of the brake light. So I reset it to the dimmer setting. Now there is a big difference. I have noticed people give me more room when slowing and stopping since adding the modulator.

Easy Install, and a very great addition to anu mototrcycle. I have had one before on another bike, and it literally "Saved my Butt" when I had to stop for an ambulance. A Little pricey for a solid state device!

This review is for the 200GW model. This is a splice in model that could easily have had the connectors already installed, but it didn't. I went for the 200GW model because I did NOT want my LED bar to be a running light. I have seen someone with this option and really don't like it. I am a proponent of "the more lights the better" arguement, but this light in particular is universally known as a "third brake light". When it is used as a running light, it is pretty brightly lit and may confuse drivers, or even worse, desensitize drivers to your intention to actually stop. So I went with the one that only flashes the brake light. ***INSTALLATION NOTE*** If you decide to go the route I did, it tells you to find a chassis ground to tie into the ground imput of the module. Instead, splice in a wire to the ground line of the spoiler light itself, this works just fine. You only have to cut and strip about 1/4" of the white wire to wire this in. It's about the size of a quarter and will not affect reassembly of the upper trunk liner. The results are great! I love that it flashes to a steady on. I don't want it to repeat, it wasn't intended to be annoying to drivers behind me, just to get their attention initially. Only 4 stars because this model should be offered as a plug and play and it was UBER EXPENSIVE. Worth it in my book though, as nothing is "cheap" for a Goldwing.
