GL1800 Accessory Chrome LED Lighted Trunk Handle

I agree with everyone here, it could be made of something besides plastic. I hooked into my remote lights and use it mainly when parked.

This handle is just o.k. - not special. Very light weight & not a lot of light either. Probably not worth the effort to install & hook it up.

Very cheaply made and doesn't fit properly. I modified it to fit flush with the trunk lid by cutting about 3/16" off the screw towers where the screws thread into the handle. This allows the handle curvature to match the trunk shape and also eliminates the gap that would be there between the handle and the trunk if the screw towers were left alone. I still don't really like the quality but I now have four holes drilled into my trunk lid so I'll live with it. Also no instructions at all on where to tie into the lighting harness on the bike. If Wingstuff is concerned about selling quality products they should pull this item from their catalog.

Not fitted as yet, worried about the fact that this does not follow the shape of the trunk, also it requires more holes drilling than stated!

Agree with Steve. This is a cheap plastic worth no more than $5.00 and would not trust it as a handle. Had same problems with how it would fit as Steve mentioned.
