Battery Tender JR 12V Smart Battery Charger SUPER SALE

Purchased 7 of them 18 months ago. 4 of them have failed and Deltran does not respond to my emails for warranty repairs or replacement. Only reason I gave it 1 star was because there isn't an option for 0 Stars.

I have several of these JR's and they are great!! Everyone should have one on their bikes, boats, lawnmowers, and seldom operated cars. Great piese of equipment. If they stop working send them back to company and they will give a new one.

So far so good. Easy to install and use. Starting to have alternator issues so figure I'll put a band aid on it until I can afford the repair or the poorboy kit. Bought the case too so I have something to carry it in. Keeps the battery fully charged and ready.

The easy way to give yourself piece of mind. Easy to install plus quick-connects so you can simply plug in after every ride to make sure you have the juice when it's time to ride again, which is EVERY day. Plus it's idiot proof so that even I could not hook it up wrong!

If you are going to use it outside of US for a 220v (50Hz) outlet and with a 220v/110v transformer, this charger may be not quite good for you. I have purchased two and they all stop to work completely after only 2 times of use. I think that there is some kind of protection circuit that “cuts-off” connection but with no way to know how to get it back. When the second one fails, I open the case and take off a part of protection shield of its transformer and shorted the protection circuit with a fuse (500mA), and it works again. But it really heats itself a lot when it is charging my GW’s battery.

I also purchased another Detran battery charger: “Waterproof Battery Tender 12V 800 mAmp” and this one is very good and doesn’t need transformer because its input is 100-240 and only about $10 more expensive.
